30 degree slope is equal to a 7/12 roof pitch, I’ve been roofing for 23 year, your regular ground walker is not getting up on a 7/12 roof pitch , an 8/12 roof is when I start using some sort of safety net, new guys limit is probably a 6/12 safely walking , of course alway wear your regular harness 😊

Cool to see the progression for you guys in that zone over the years. Learning the easiest line, getting better sleds, all made it happen to get to the top finally! It's one of the most satisfying things about sledding to put it all together and learn the terrain to be able to climb elevation quickly.
