I tried missha awhile back! the problem with many asian foundations is that they often aren't cruelty free so it can be tricky sometimes

I think it wore pretty well on you, especially on day 2. I think I see a tad less glow on the side with powder underneath. That's a great point about blotting midway through a wear test instead of at the end of the day!

Happy anniversary! This was a fantastic review. My skin has suddenly gone from super-super-incredibly-oily to.... kind of normal? It's the strangest thing. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but clearly my 31 year old butt is getting old or something. I'm interested in trying a dewy foundation lately, but I think I might dip my toe in with a drugstore foundation first. Do you have any dewy drugstore foundations you like? I'm thinking of trying the Loreal Infallible Pro Glow. I know you typically go with matte foundations, but I thought I'd ask, 'cuz you're my fave :)

yes I do have a ton of dewy drugstore foundations! the essence pretty fresh hydrating foundation is wonderful, so is the wet n wild tinted hydrator (though their cruelty free status is a little wishy washy) but it is so good!

I have tried this product. It’s a bit too glowy for me. I think I would use it thinned out with moisturizer or added to foundation. The nice thing is it actually controlled my oil somewhat.

I agree, it is just a TAD too luminous for my taste. Definitely a great product to add other foundations to make it dewier!

This is all my fears and dislikes in one product. Fucking oily, textured skin. I'd love to be a low maintenance, light coverage chick but I am not. As soon as I look shiny I freak out esp when wearing glasses. I appreciate you trying these out so I don't waste my money or get my hopes up. What is it like to have DRY SKIN?!?!? I was going to get this before I saw the reviews because I really liked the claims on the website but stickiness is an absolute no for me, like lipgloss but all over the face 😫 I always try to look for foundations that won’t break me out, do you ever find that you have to be careful which foundations you wear for a long time because they’ll break you out?

I've had some foundations break me out but it is a rarity for me. I'm not too sensitive to foundations, but I am somewhat sensitive to skincare products. My face will dry out or will start stinging, super unpleasant 😭

Ivory! I bought the Juno and co sponge because of your recommendation. Do you clean it a certain way? The products don’t seem to come off that easily for me :(

yes! you have to get a bar of soap and rub it into the sponge. regular soap/makeup remover solutions wont take off the staining

sadly, I am on the same quest as you trying to find a good sunscreen lol. every one that I've tried either smells strongly of spf, is too thick, or has intense white cast so I haven't found one that I can recommend either
