2 Days in Kutaisi, Georgia 🇬🇪 (I got soaked!)

it was time to leave Borjomi and continue my journey west, to the city of Kutaisi. There was, however, no direct marshrutka so I had to work that out, and it was fine in the end. On arriving to Kutaisi I was greeted by a heavy storm! I still managed to fit quite a few things into my time there though - including replacing my microphone (again) and struggling to work it out - apologies (again) Next adventure is an exciting one, stay tuned! :)

Hi there Wow you went on a magical mystery tour. Despite the rainy weather you saw a lot The market had such fine produce the tomatoes looked delicious, That poor dogie really did want to be with you . I enjoyed your video so much Thank you for sharing your adventure

Another nice place you've chosen to take us to Nimi, the statues were interesting. It's a shame people have to graffiti beautiful things like that. I loved visiting the monastery, what an interesting place, and the gardens were lovely, as you say; I much prefer like that than manicured. What a delight the tree chapel ❤ magical. Thank you for sharing, hope the weather improves for you 🥰 xx

Pity about the rising damp in your boots,it obviously takes more than a few spots of rain to put you off ! I preferred this district ,looks nicer and your digs look more comfortable.

The audio really isn't too bad... save your money on any future audio tech and use it to enjoy your trip more :D I'm not sure what sort of mic it is... but if you need to try something to help... maybe a windsock cover... I'm not sure if that would protect it from brushing noises but it might. Honestly though I've heard much much worse audio on other videos so don't stress too much. I assume the latin being included on the tree labels is a hold over from what I assume is predominantly catholic religion?

@@cpoco its a weird wireless type mic with a fluffy cover on it , not great to be honest, but my phone case covers the mic on my phone so I’m kind of between a rock and a hard place! I’ll figure it out eventually. The Latin , I think generally most plant names are written in Latin, or at least I’ve seen it quite a few times in different gardens 😃

@@madmousetales ah ok... I guess they would be the scientific names for the plants then... I thought it was like a little description of them and thought perhaps if Roman Catholic was the predominant faith of the area perhaps it was a hold over from that... but yes... probably just scientific names. Well I think your audio is fine (but I do understand when you've made something and want it to be as good as can be). Enjoy your travels!
