The white bridge! There's a Dutch program called Wie is de mol (Who is the mole). They were there a few years prior to you and one of the assignments the contestants had to do was paint that bridge and get the people of the city involved to get it painted.

Wow I love that market - those snacks you tried: we have something similar in North Cyprus nuts covered in this thick sticky stuff made from fresh grape juice and they’re long hanging on strings- they’re called sucuk - my husband’s family make these in their village. And that bean stew with the peppers and pickles : same as Turkish. I find it so fascinating how there are similarities with our food with our neighbours. Lovely Georgia
@TREADtheglobe3 жыл бұрын
Sounds great! Yes it is fascinating to see the similarities and hear the stories of how they were made and shared all over the world with different names xx
@aystravel57763 жыл бұрын
I was about to say this. My mother in law love them everytime we go to Turkey we had to buy them for my family and in law.
@pelinbulent48923 жыл бұрын
@@aystravel5776 that’s lovely to know - you should come to North Cyprus as they have these sold in the Lefkoşa Bandabulya (covered market) - there’s a shop that sells the best fresh Turkish Delights and nuts

My city is 3500 years old ... if not for 200 years of Russian slavery and 70 years of hard years of the Soviet Union - we would be an integral part of Europe! We are proud of our past and future! There is a tolerant nation living in Georgia. We love and respect the guest. We have a unique script, language, cuisine, polyphonic song and dance culture. We are a civilized people - we are fighting for the final liberation of the occupied territories of Russia and for economic prosperity! I apologize for my poor English. Sincerely, from Kutaisi :) :*

Just imagined after seeing the state of the roads up those mountains in the videos made be feel 😳 on edge. Is there a time you asked yourselves is it worth taking a risk with Trudy not a 4x4? I am so humbled that those roads were as tough as Trudy. Well done Marianna for driving very carefully and both of you Teamwork keeping us informed and entertainer. Sending lots of love 💘💗💕❤ From Doreen and Alicia (D&A)
@TREADtheglobe3 жыл бұрын
Hi D&A - yep it is always a risk with Trudy and in fact we had this talk again just yesterday - our mechanic told us when we left, enjoy and remember I can ship anything to you worldwide LOL !! So we sort of go for it .... But on a serious note we love Trudy and as she is not just our vehicle but also our home, we would never intentionally put her at risk ... hence I drove at 2-7 miles an hour LOL 😂💃🚐🙌 - I will always look after my girl 💜🌸 xx Marianne xx

It is very interesting that Georgians always give way to pedestrians even though they drive very badly and sometimes even drink alcohol.
@TREADtheglobe3 жыл бұрын
Yes they just stop to let you cross - I have seen drink driving in many countries ... I suppose it whether the police are strict or not 🤔
@nataliasokhadze5663 жыл бұрын
Georgia is the homeland of vines ... Therefore - we have a great culture of winemaking. Georgians drink wine on the holiday ..However, there are exceptions for poor people - who kill their hardships in a drink ... Unfortunately, you had to visit at a time when the main roads of the city are blocked due to repairs, which creates great inconvenience not only for visitors ...
