Join us on a 48-hour tour of Madrid, Spain's cultural and historical heart.
Our journey begins with a visit to the central Plaza Mayor, a public square dating back to 1590 and surrounded by stunning arcaded buildings; it is a perfect place to take in the lively atmosphere and watch street performers. Next, we'll head to the sister square Puerta del Sol, home to the "Km 0" stone marking the geographic center of Spain and the clock tower location from which the famous New Year's Eve countdown is broadcast. After that, we'll head to San Miguel Market, a beautiful wrought iron and glass structure, where we'll taste the best Spanish delicacies, including the famous Jamon Iberico, a cured ham made from the Iberico pig and a must-try for any food lover.
