This time I believe it was real. It is great that you are back and I hope you continue this way. I would still recommend a thermos for the water, but as long as you have a way of not making it freeze i guess it's fine. Doing this in -10 to -40 where I live would be harder to survive though, might try it in the future when it's warmer. Hope you have a great 2025 :) BTW the fire is smoking because it is melting the ice and snow and soaking the wood and also preventing the fire from gaining enough heat to where it burns efficient , it is best to have something to support the fire from sinking, there exists quite portable variants for this, don't remember the name though.
