Lucky enough, this pilot was well educated, and experienced. He know that life is not a gamble so respect and thanks to that man!

You're enthusiastiam is infectious . Good to see you happy . I love thermal spa's, my idea of heaven would be a gong / sound bath whilst in the spa , followed by a massage .ha I love a pamper ! Very interesting re the whirlpools and N pole , I've not heard of that before but it resonates, so hope you talk further on that subject ....

Recently visited the Castalian holy spring in Delphi, Greece where the mountain wind creates vibration in the mountains and produces the healing water. Also visited the cave of the oracle where they had a woman hauled up smelling gas giving prophetic divinations! Nature is truly remarkable! The calling to water and your wonderings about It's churn indeed holds some further journey of discovery for us who also hear it -thanks for sharing!

"Pumping station at the North Pole". Hm. Man, you need to do a series on this LOL. And if you ever consider visiting my home province of Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada, sometime, you'd have a vast wealth of material you'd be challenged to get thru. But if you do, look me up. I'd make a decent tour guide, so to speak. Love your work. Thank you.

You did better than we did back in 2005! Pilot was told okay to land at Nis airport, Serbia in a snow storm, we couldn’t see a thing out the windows so nor could the pilot so he aborted mid descent and boosted us out of there. He said we had enough fuel for an of hour circling til a better window of opportunity. An hour went past and still no good so diverted to Sofia, Bulgaria ( many years later I got to be in that tiny airport!) to refuel, airport was shut so we couldn’t get water which had now ran out on the plane. Diverted again up to Belgrade, paparazzi taking pics of us all coming out the airport and on to 3 coaches to make the 5 hour journey to and up Kopaonik Mountain. And out of the coaches, whose broke down on the side of the mountain in the snow and dark night?!! We were meant to arrive at 1pm, but got there at 1 am!

When i was flying from Sarajevo to Belgrade a air traffic control guy got on the plane and said 'Your bags are staying here, and if 4 people don't leave your not going to Belgrade'.............Then FIVE MINUTES LATER literally got on and dead pan just said 'were going'. Then we had turbulence on a small plane and I was sat on the wing.

Ocean tides occur because the water flows from locations with a low tide to those with a high tide on the other side of the world. On the other hand, the world's lakes are not interconnected, and therefore, no significant tides can occur.
@stewthewanderer2 жыл бұрын
What caused the low tide and high tide…
@drumetul_dacic2 жыл бұрын
@@stewthewanderer The gravity interaction between Earth and the Moon. The interaction is not strong enough to create significant tides on lakes, as the mass of lake water is a lot less than the mass of ocean water, and therefore the gravitational effect is a lot weaker on lakes. The waves created by the gravitational interaction between the Earth and the Moon are lots of kilometers long, so you can imagine how the effect is being amplified in an ocean, compared to a lake, even though the gravitational effect is relatively weak.

If the pilots cannot see the runway they cannot land. There are minimum requirements and if not ok they will divert. This is not an emergency like you almost crashed.
@stewthewanderer2 жыл бұрын
The pilot called it two emergency procedures as we attempted landing twice, but had to pull up last second both times. Not nice when you can’t see a thing whilst descending so slow.
