10:39 - It wasn't discussed and it might be because I'm bad and missing something. Instead of Dave's move with the bishop, I like simply taking whites bishop with the rook here. If white takes, both sides lose a rook and you're just up a bishop. I like it because Carl clearly moved his bishop thinking it was protected. I like subverting the opponent's assumptions. You didn't cover it though, so I'm guessing the engine doesn't like it and I'm probably missing a strong counter play move. And that's why you guys are the masters! Thank you for the games AND the analysis. Amazing content.

@C Dawg you got your square numbers screwed up, but I follow what you meant. Your b4 should be b5, your b6 should be a3, and your e1 should be e8. Black comes out much better if rook takes white’s bishop. White queen takes black rook, black queen takes white rook, and white queen takes black pawn on b5. After that, so long as black doesn’t make a bad move (like taking white’s pawn on a3) he’s got the game in the bag. He still has the better position, and he’s up a piece.
