Did you have to put a check valve /one way valve on one of the pumps?
@hackjobhotrodshop5075Ай бұрын
@@shawnmalicek1189 no, pumps already have a check ball in them so they don't back feed all the pressure on startup

Few questions: 1) why not run a stud through the hat instead of a pass through with Teflon? 2) is that regular wire (10ga) on the inside of that tank? 3) where did you get the fuel filter setup?

Could have run a stud style sure, I'm just cautious with them since the nut in the inside can loosen up. I'd consider one in the future though with a steel lock nut. 8 gauge from the battery to the relay and 12 into the tank. Filter is some diesel off hiway equipment stuff I bought off fleabay. I have another video on it.

@@hackjobhotrodshop5075 lol I’m cheap, so I’d probably just double nut it.. I got one of those Quantum “build a hanger” deals off eBay for 1/2 the price of the FA134 or whatever. Swapped over the bulkhead and noticed how small the wires are 😐 I’ll definitely check the other video, im thinking about going no filter, as bad as an idea as I know it is. I need a good, $ level alternative should I come to my senses

Id charge more than what the Chinese kids get charged to make new ones that Holley or others sell. I think they make Dual kits these days.
