Doc was a real dick for that tunnelling, but your team just handed him the win afterwards. There's no reason that should have become a 4k.

"Doc was a real dick for that tunnelling." Nah, he was simply stupid, chasing one survivor at the corner of the map for freaking ever. That is a recipe for desaster. I semi-main Doctor on killer and I don't understand, why one would even tunnel with him. Doc is the king of split pressure. That's what I love about him (that and that he defuses some of the nastier tile setups). He is also really good at countering altruistic "bully squads". Which is exactly why the endgame ended as it did: They all played around him, lurking in his terror radius, before he picked up. Which is a big mistake against a doc.

While killer bad behavior is off the charts, survivors are starting to blame each other. I play soloQ a lot and these experiences are typical for me too, but maybe we need more ‘how to’ videos to show how to team in these scenarios. Especially since so many games mix MMR level players.

I get what you mean. I think the biggest thing I see people not notice is how often they run next to each other and get downed
@Woof_ya_boy3 ай бұрын

They don't even need to "mix MMR". Most players with 100 to 200ish hours are bound to be above the soft cap anyway. "High MMR" is far more bloated and vague than people realize.

True. I got camped and tunneled like that on Dead Dawg's. Found my cage quickly and just held his M2 'till one of my teammates uncaged me. Got downed right on the spot and....dead. Wonderful design indeed.😑

Good looping skills. Poor Killer did not pick his battles correctly. He needs to realize who is the best runner and who is an ez down. For any Killer main; If you cant catch 1 survivor, Go afted his team mates instead!
@jcastYT4 ай бұрын
Sometimes its worth losing as killer chasing a strong looper. You cant expect to get better at chases as killer if you go after the bad players all the time, good loopers will teach you how to mindgame better and what loops are bloodlustable.
@SweetLeavesXbox14 ай бұрын
@@jcastYT Yea there are multiple tiles that are "mind gameable". Learning to fake out the survivor successfully usually means you can play well with most killers.

the matches you showed tell us you made those survivors live to the endgame instead of dying at 5 or 4 generators. I'm afraid that has nothing to do with the tunnel 😭
@SweetLeavesXbox14 ай бұрын
How so? The other survivors are still alive bc the killer chased the best Looper the entire trial. Killers can tunnle without hooking anyone. The point of tunneling is going after 1 person only. Either to get them out of the game or just mad because the killer can't outplay 1 survivor. Got that tunnle vision :)
@anettelma1234 ай бұрын
@@SweetLeavesXbox1 I agree but the title is about "tunnel working" and tunnel didn't work in this games the way I see tunnel working in games (for me tunnel works if tunneled survivor is bad with chase so survivor will die fast and then its 3v1 at 3/4/5 gens - almost unwinnable). In games we watched tunnel worked because survivors were (Im sorry) not very smart lol
@SweetLeavesXbox14 ай бұрын
@anettelma123 I get what your saying. But, Tunneling is tunneling wether the tunnle favors the killer or the survivor. It's still tunneling. The title is basically stating, "I looped them for ages". So, it worked out in the survivors chases. That's how I view it.

You can’t win as survivor. You do all the gens and leave the tunneled player to their fate and you’re called a bad and selfish teammate. You try to help them and it doesn’t work out and you’re told you suck for not just getting the gens done/escaping.
