Why is Open Handed in this build?

Quick Gambot has an aura range of 36 meters when in chase. I assume open handed is there to make that 52 meters so he can plan his pathing better.

Exactly this. I was using Troubleshooter before, but I slightly prefer Open-Handed for avoiding people, like when you see Kate in the video. I may eventually end up using Bond

Why open handed? Open-Handed does not work with Quick Gambit because it doesn't increase Quick Gambit's base range of 36 meters. Open-Handed increases aura reading ranges by 8, 12, or 16 meters, but Quick Gambit only reveals a gen's aura if it's in range first.
