My gf and I are headed to Bali and found one of your videos. We got hooked. I think your videos are so much better than the ones that are all based around "adventure"..people cliff jumping etc. Yours are real. Like what it actually is like to travel! These Thailand videos are bringing back great memories. Thanks guys!

The next time you go to Thailand. You should go to the 7-Eleven and get a Rabbit card. You can put as much money as you want on the rabbit card and use most of the transportation including the BTS. Every trip will be deducted from the Rabbit card. some of the airport transportation in Phuket is also on the Rabbit card. Once you're done you can return the Rabbit card to 7-Eleven and get your change back. There are many forms of transportation that the Rabbit card can be used at in Bangkok and Phuket. I'm a new subscriber but I've been going to Thailand since 2002. I think most of your videos about Thailand are perfect and right on. Most vloggers are inaccurate.
@DanegerAndStacey5 жыл бұрын
Hey John - we did use the Rabbit card. Not sure if it was this video, or 1 either side of it, but definitely picked it up to save the hassle on always buying a ticket. Glad you think we're on the moneyish with our Thai vids though, thanks!
@joshr94175 жыл бұрын
If you spend some time in Bangkok you will end up back on that same boat, its the quickest and cheapest way to get to things that are up or down the river, the sky train doesn't go everywhere you need to be..... and to take a tuktuk or taxi is crazy because of the massive amount of traffic.
@DanegerAndStacey5 жыл бұрын
We took the other canal boat yesterday, that was a cool experience as well. Grab is the real winner though - 150-200 baht across town anywhere and 3-400 to the airport is a life saver

Great video and as always, you tell it as it is! I liked the idea of mixing up the transport modes on the way out - at least you've done that now. I bet a chilled beer tasted good in that heat - I don't tend to drink beer in England in the winter, (it's minus 5 degrees C outside as I type this) but love to drink it in the summer. Great teasers at the end - looking forward to the next instalment as always!

We went on the water taxi along the chao praya, and I learned how seasick certain family members would get! Took us to some interesting areas. And the sky train to chattuchuck is worth it. And watch out for the vanishing sidewalks!

Hey! I saw you guys when you were transferring from the train to the river boat. My girlfriend and I did the same trip but in the opposite direction. I was figuring out which BTS station we needed to go to when I looked up and there you were walking by. I would’ve said hi, but traffic in those train stations doesn’t stop for anything. Anyways, thought you might find it cool that someone recognized you. I’ve been watching your videos for a couple months now, and it was wild to randomly cross paths in Bangkok. Great video. you got it...will do no worries. Please send me the link for the new one you just purchased. The old one is on your channel. Also do u find yourself using the smaller canon more while walking. And lastly without busting your Butt. Do you shoot the video in manual mode and always adjust shutter speed and aperture. Or what settings do you use.? Any or all details on your all camera settings is greatly appreciated THANKS
@DanegerAndStacey5 жыл бұрын
Appreciate that, thanks. Here's the newer version we picked up: geni.us/6k9OJhq We've been using the canon less and less lately and mainly filming with the GH5. Part of the reason is the quality of phones now, if it's dark, or we don''t want the GH5 rig out we can generally use an iphone briefly to tell the story with a few shots. We film on mostly auto except for focus, which sucks, but is kind of needed on the GH5. For slow mo and more cinematic stuff we go manual, but vlogging is rough if you spend your time doing all of that all day long.
