That creek in the beginning of video and a few times though out is the best creek to smallmouth fish in Arkansas. My favorite creek in the ozarks. The Oklahoma portion of this video must be from last summer because Bella was alive. Great video

It takes a long time for mountain smallmouth in Arkansas to get big so we prefer to release them. There are a lot of areas where the big ones have all been taken out

The equipment was sussfient for saving the catch , but what was that piece she was using. Small things are good to catch fish, but she has up to date product.

ln the hood, we mix a can of mackerel, a can of pink salmon, toss in some eggs and flour, dice some onions coat the patties with some Italian bread crumbs to make them crunchy and eat like Cole & Jay.

We have a huge stock of fish already in our freezer. We love fish, but it’s not possible for us to keep them every time. These mountain smallies in Arkansas take a long time to get big so we prefer to release them. There are areas where all the big ones have been taken out, leaving it a less desirable fishery
