Jay ,pull the heads off I worms and take a stick bobber and turn them in side out and the blue gills go crazy for them. Best baits for pan fish I have ever fished with. And i am 80 years old. Love your show .🎉

Your first segment is awesome (as usual), and I remember saying the same thing when it posted way back. Question...? Can you preserve those Catalpa Worms for later use? I answered my own question, via Google and your own Game & Fish Division... take freshly harvested worms, bring a pot of water to a LIGHT boil, toss worms in for about ONE MINUTE... as soon as they have stiffened just a bit, remove, and place onto paper towel to dry. Once dry, place a handful of CORNMEAL and worms into a ziplock bag (or vacuum seal??), label, and freeze. There.

I started watching & following y’all today. Y’all are like me & my husband. We love to fish together. I love to video our fishing like y’all do. I need some video tips. I have a GoPro Hero 8. I’m not sure how to set my settings for my videos. I don’t know if I should have settings on Super or Super Wide. Any suggestions would be great. Y’all’s videos are awesome. Freeze those extra worms! I have a tree in my backyard and when I pick the worms, I place in a Sterilite container with a lid in the freezer until frozen hard. Then pop them out and place in Ziploc bags of whatever quantity you like. I have about 1000 in the freezer from last year and am ready to hit the Arkansas River!

My dad would freeze also, but in an old coffee can and with cornmeal poured in so they didn’t stick together so badly . He used them for crappie. The black line down the back feels like velvet. I read on another comment that said to drop them in boiling water, but I am pretty sure he never did.

I was bored and was surfing looking for cat fishing videos and came across you guys. I like your channel so far. I have you a thanks and subscribed to check your channel out for awhile and wanted to see if I like your channel I do so far. I never thought in a million years to use l caterpillars to catch cats. My favorite cat fish of course flat heads. My favorite to catch are monsters of course 60 pounders and on up. My favorite to eat are 6 pounders to 15,16,17 is the biggest I like to eat. my grand daughters caught a 18 lb. flat head with hot dogs with garlic powder on it on the glaize arm of lake ozark mo. with a kids rod and 6 lb line it was a blast and did it all by her self . i just wish i had pics of it. love you all
