Hi, it was 11:00AM on a Friday in December 2023. I hope you enjoyed this video. I also filmed at a Yodobashi store in Tokyo which was filmed in January 2023. It’s on my channel. I will have more to come. I hope this answers you question.

I’ve been to Japan many times and never had an issue at Customs. I usually travel only with a backpack but I’ve had to check in a luggage before and didn’t have the items I claimed tax-free. The officer cleared me out without seeing the merchandise… but that’s my experience with the Customs process, never had any issues with tax-free purchases
