In some ways this was the prequel to the show must go on (last song on innuendo) This was the last song on “the miracle” and at the time it was thought that Freddie would not survive to see another album released so this was kind of a goodbye, which you can tell by the lyrics....and Freddie’s last were....“yes it was a worthwhile experience”

“We went to Bali, saw God and Dali” line is a reference to when bassist John Deacon left a note for the band on his bass while they were recording the 1984 The Works album. He just up and left for 10 days in Bali without telling anyone. There’s also a great story about John and doing mushrooms in Bali...

Even though they started crediting all the writing to “Queen”, you can tell immediately that Freddie wrote this!!! So Freddie. Love it!!!! Thanks for doing the video also!!! You should check out the “I Want it All” Video. You did the lyrics but didn’t see the video. Freddie still looks ok. He just doesn’t have his 1/2 mic stand. Just a stationary, which was so odd to see after all the years with the dances and the mic.

Freddie's Answer is ''Yes it was a worthwhile experience hahahaHAA'' :D thats so great. I feel like i'm too late and there are so many comments I don't think i have to say anything or I'll repeat everything that's said already. But if you still have Questions I can answer them if you Ask.

I love watching reaction videos here in YT since 2016 and subscribed to a lot of channels but to be completely honest you’re the only reactor who’s Queen playlist is saved in my library. I was there when you first reacted to Innuendo and decided to save your Queen playlist after 2 or 3 reactions from their music. And looking where you are right now, and seeing a Queen picture frame at the back, I could definitely say watching your Queen journey was all worth it. Thank you Hap! 😊👍🏻

According to SONGFACTS: “Freddie Mercury wrote this with lyrical ideas by the other three band members. The song is very introspective, asking if the sacrifices he and his bandmates made to the gods of rock and roll were worth it. As he recalls their struggle and glory, it becomes clear that it was indeed worth it. “. ALBUM: The Miracle 1989

Lol he cracks me up and I get tickled watching him react to Queen songs but I love Queen music. They are the best most creative talented band ever and to still be popular even without the Bohemian Rhapsody movie they were still popular because Rodger and Brian still kept going on doing what they loved little by little. I'm glad they found Adam because he developed and got so much better singing with them and he's grown so much from American Idol! He had the style they were looking for in the boys but he just needed some weak and to get rid of some bad habits even though he had vocal training. He's good for them and they have a lot of fun.

I love your Queen reactions. I knew you would become a fan of Queen. There's no way a person could listen to their songs and not love them. I grew up listening to Queen and other bands in the 70's and 80's, all of them were good but no one could come close to Queen. I have a request, don't think you've reacted to this one. Queen-Love Kills--the ballad (official Montage Video) I love this song and Freddie's vocals are awesome in this song.

Great reaction! Great song! Killer lyrics. I hope it was worth it for all of them. I don't know exactly what the inspiration was beyond their knowledge of their limited time together, but I do remember reading a Springsteen interview a few years after his massive success in the eighties and he said something to the effect that when you get to that level in the business, people assume your life is perfect and that you know it all - but sometimes all you really know is music because the rest of your life has taken a back seat to that dream. By the way - my least productive afternoon of work in a long time! You've been busy!

Yay! a shout out at last haha, cheers dude, only taken a few months lol. Was supposed to be the last Queen song, would have been a beaut to go out on. It's a semi autobiography about their life as a band the trials and tribulations over the years, and as it was supposed to be the last Queen song due to how ill freddie was. The song is asking after 20 years of this......... "was it all worth it?" Right at the end, Freddie answer they question at the end "Yes it was a worthwhile experience " and "Yes, It was worth it" As a huge fan, I have to agree with him

Your statement about music touching everyone differently is absolutely true and exactly why Queen really didn't like doing videos. They felt it took away from the individuals own feeling and interpretation of the song. This is also why they don't like explaining what they were thinking when they wrote a song as to not influence the listener.

My take: Most if not all the music from the Miracle on was very personal to all four of the band members and reflective. I believe they not only wanted to write music for Freddie but Freddie wanted to write music about them. It is how they really let each other now how they felt. Just my take.

You have to see Queen at Wembley concert in 1986, especially the last part of it. The most amazing look at Queen as a band and group! They really were good and you could see that they were having a lot of fun too. Please put it on your list, you will enjoy it so much. On this song you an here a snippet of Death On Two Legs as well. I’ve been listening and watching Queen since 1974, they also have a couple of documentaries on Queen at Live Aid that gives a good look at how they approached it and how they were perceived as a band. Thanks for your reactions, I love to watch your reactions to my favorite band ever!

I think this is Freddie's reflection of his life and the band since he was already deep into his illness and didn't know he would die 3 years later. I think Freddie had a lot to say and so little time to say it all. Although this song is pretty jammed pack 😆 To Freddie we miss you so dearly and all your true fans always knew how you felt and what you meant. QUEEN FOREVER ❤ RIP Freddie Mercury 11/24/1991 🌹❤🌹❤🌹

John got high af once and saw God, apparently. The lyrics are biographic. There's even a reference to the Halloween party in New Orleans.I don't know who wrote what line, but if Freddie was the one blowing his own trumpet, well, all I can say is that he was insanely flexible . I love this song, it's like the soundtrack of their lives. And I say soundtrack on purpose, because that's what it looks to me at some points.

Great reaction, it is really amazing how you could relate this song so closely to your own life and experiences. Freddie would have loved that! The scream and highest singing in the background was Freddie, at this stage Freddie was doing all of the highest harmonies, Roger lost his high falsetto in 1979. This was really Freddie's farewell song that he wrote for the fans. His doctors did not think he would make it past 1989 so he added his farewell song to The Miracle album. Of course they actually had time to do another album - Innuendo. I think it is an interesting choice for a farewell song and it really shows Freddie's personality. It is almost an autobiography of the band, and it is upbeat and all conquering. It is Freddie's way of saying that he lived his life to his fullest, and he does not have any regrets. Freddie loved it when people related their own personal lives to his songs, he really did not want people know what his songs were really about. Roger added the line, "we were so dandy, we loved you madly", to the song. I think I've said it before, but some this melody comes from Freddie's solo material, Rachmaninov's Revenge or The Fallen Priest, in my opinion. This song does not have an official video. The songs with official videos are songs that were released as singles, this song was never released as a single. If you are still angry listen to Gimme The Prize kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJeXhpuGqtyifac. I must say I am surprised to hear that someone would try to act like another subscriber on KZbin. The more time you spend in the front of the camera, the more your natural personally should surface as you become more comfortable. That is what people want to see. they want to see authentic reactions. If you copy someone else you would be fake, it would become acting and not reacting. People often have a natural ability to detect when something is fake. Winning or losing could also refer to touring. These were very different times. Because of the shows they put on Queen never made any profit from touring. They always lost money to tour, except for The Magic Tour in 1986 which was only a tour of stadium gigs. They always tried to break records within touring, and they tried to tour in different places, but it was always at a loss. You discussed many different things, so this comment is all over the map. I don't think Freddie, Roger and John really cared that they lost popularity in America. It is really Brian who cares about it the most, he has written blogs, IG posts and letters about the subject, it is a subject he has often discussed. I am pretty sure that is why he wanted an American singer to tour with them currently. It has always been somewhat of a chip on his shoulder, but Queen did regain some popularity with the Bohemian Rhapsody movie. Another interesting song from The Miracle is Stealin'. Your situation made me think of the song. It was actually a B-side so it wasn't released on the original studio album, although it was better then some other songs on the album. It is a pretty cool song, I think: Stealin' kzbin.info/www/bejne/bme9q5ahltKBe8k You also have to check out the official video for Bicycle Race kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqWTh2OVZrKGZrM.

Written by Queen was a financial decision made after "I'm in Love with my Car" made a fortune (for Roger) as the flip side of "Bohemian Rhapsody". To settle the argument all songs were credited to the entire band. This one sounds more like Freddie wrote it. Always over the top for Freddie.

You are 100% right and each and every one of them were extremely so different from each other and it should have never worked but it did Golden time!! To watch some of the videos and listen to what Bob Geldof said about the band in each individual member- aside from the four of them being academically intelligent and Brilliant it should have never ever were but it did and it was magical! Geniuses and they worked hard and got better and better. I'll see if I can find a Bob Geldof video and Link it so you can look at it because Bob Geldof was in an Irish band years and years ago in early 1970s. His wife was doing work with a MTV like TV station in London and she met Michael, who was the lead singer with INXS and they fell in love and all s*** break loose.

Summing up there careers, Was it all worth it. 👑 I understand what your saying. I sometimes get attacked for my opinion or a wrong timeline. I get jumped on instantly.👑 They were on the verge of breaking up 74-75. Till after BoRap became a hit.👑

You know by now they had quit touring. The studio most of the time was boring. Freddie got there early one day after Brian got there he said “ I’m going slightly mad” Please do that video next.🤩

I think the background voice came from Freddie not from Roger. He sings is like in Breakthru. On the Later Albums Roger doesn't have much brackground singing, more on Queen's first albums.

One of the best NON Queen tracks never to be a single . Had this come out after Boh Rhap / Days Of this would of been a fitting end to the 4 of them as Queen . Freddies strongest vocals in years and considering his health at this time makes you think how did he do it

Actually, that high note when they sing Was It All Worth It was Freddie. Roger lost his high voice during the mid-80's. Freddie did all the high notes after that

DAMN!! You saw it first ! 😂😂😂 YOUR REACTION a couple times to that beautiful sound and they are xylophones !! 💞💞Those xylophones used in this song were freaking amazing, and I haven't heard Queen use that and any other other songs. I don't know who was playing the xylophone and I'm very familiar with him because I used to play them and some people call them bills but it's a xylophone and you play them kind of like a drum. It looks like a small piano but it's Played Like A Drum and it's got this cool Bell sound to it and just beautiful... I loved playing those things!!! The flute piano and Viola phones are all in the key of C so it has to be either Freddie or Brian likely playing them if they were indeed xylophones. FRED this guy that worked with them and did some synthesizers obviously you did some creative xylophone work with the synthesizers. my guess is that Fred used the synthesizers WELL..

If you ever get a chance, watch "Days of Our Life's Documentary" it is 2 part and each part is an hour. Just watch it for yourself. It explains a lot about their lives. Very touching and mostly done by Brian and Roger!
