The hit makers do it again, a great track made eons ahead but yet pays homage to their roots. Queen bring THE HITMAN to the forefront. A fresh, raw ready track! A haunting vocal from provides a chilling experience but yet filled with laughter as Brian, Roger and John dance around on the beat.

THE HITMAN LYRICKS
Here we go
Ooh yeah yeah yeah yeah
Hey I'm the hitman
Stand aside
I'm the hitman
I want your life
Ain't no escaping
Don't run and hide
There goes the neighborhood
I'm gonna kill for your love
that's right
Hitman
Now don't you cry
I'm just it man
And you might get fried
Gun in my pocket
Don't get me wrong
I'll be your hitman
I'm a fool for your love
I'm a head shredder
That's better
Baby baby baby
I'm a hitman hitman hitman
Yeah - trouble in the East troubled in the West
Struggle with the beast - what a thief what a pest
Come back mother
Nuke that sucker
Yeah yeah yeah
Who knows what I'm talking about
Waste that brother
All right
Ooh
That's the way to do it
I'm the hitman
I'm your prize
But this hitman can cut you down to size
Love me (baby)
Don't be so cool
Love me love me baby
I've been to the hitman school
Yeah yeah
You're gonna make my day
Gonna blow you away
That's when the fun begins (hitman)
Are you ready for the sting
Gonna waste that thing (hitman)
Hitman is king
Go go
Oh hitman hitman

He has the same “growl” on this one as he did in “I Want it All”. There were some Dr’s that discussed that individuals with terminal diseases go through a time where their art is better than ever- like singers, artists etc. I thought the entire Innuendo album had amazing vocals. Don’t Try So Hard on Innuendo album is a great song with amazing vocals. All the songs were credited to Queen, but it was written by Freddie.

An awesome return to their hard rock roots. Thanks for this, Hap! You've made this Queen journey so much fun. It's amazing how creative they were in recording this album. I listened to these songs for decades without ever really understanding what they were all going through at the time. Spending the last six months exploring this group on line has changed how I listen forever.

Wasn't expecting you to do this...Great reaction! Innuendo was such a great last album during Freddie's lifetime....they threw everything at it. The last album Made in Heaven completed 4 years after Freddie's death will amaze you. A winter's tale, it's a beautiful day and you don't fool me to name just 3 are all brilliant considering the album was so painful for them to work on. Keep up the good work my friend!

Im the hitman,I am your prize, lol, yes Freddie u are all our prize,Freddie wrote this song, heavy rock like he did with orge battle, stone cold crazy, peter said he did this song just cause it made him happy,he played it on piano then gave it to Brian to rock it up,I like the song a lot,i prefer his dreamy ballads but good ole rock is excellent at times as well,Peter also said John reconstructed the whole thing to what we hear today, glad this gave Freddie some happiness at the end, glad U played it

Threw me for a loop to see you react to this one right now. Nice surprise! Totally love it and agree with your thoughts on the entire Innuendo album. I think a lot of it is owed to all the circumstances surrounding it. Brian's famously said that it was almost like returning back to their youth. They knew they were on borrowed time. As terribly sad as that is, it really spurred their creativity and energy to put out some amazing work. And connected to that, it brought the boys back together. As you hoped, it made them close like they were back in their young, broke days. The arguing and ego was put to the side to be a family and just make great music. So heartwarming and I think the album reflects it. 💛

Cool reaction! You will likely be surprised to know that this was actually a Freddie song, he wrote and composed this song. The one part in the song where you think it sounds like The Show Must Go On, I don't think it sounds like The Show Must Go On, I would say it sounds like a part of the song Innuendo. Now you should listen to Don't Try So Hard from the Innuendo album, it has a completely different sound to this song with amazing vocals. Freddie is really rare case as a rock singer, his voice generally really improved as he aged. Usually rock singer tend to destroy their voices, at an early stage, especially during the 70's and 80's. Rock singers really did not look after their voices during these times. On these types of really hard rock somewhat metal songs, you can really notice how Freddie's voice change through the years. People often think of ballads being difficult to sing, but fast rocking songs like these are often far more difficult to sing. As in this song you constantly have to belt at a very high range with a lot of power. Freddie did some of his highest chest voice vocals on the Innuendo album. As I said you can do somewhat of a timeline with Queen's heavier or harder songs, to see the changes in Freddie's voice. On the first album during songs such as The Great King Rat, Freddie really tries to add that extra grit and power but his voice was still very light. You can hear it right through until A Night At The Opera in 1975. A song such as The Profit Song would have been even better if Freddie's voice had more power. The Great King Rat live at the Rainbow 1974 kzbin.info/www/bejne/pH-ngJSwm7eaZpo. In 1976 there is a slight change, Freddie's voice gained more range. You can hear it on songs such as White Man from A Day At The Races. By 1977 his voice had gained some real grit and a bit more power. You can hear it on It's Late, Dead On Time and Mustapha from the Jazz album. Dead On Time kzbin.info/www/bejne/q3zSmqmihbqalbs Mustapha kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZuVnGh4r82rqNE White Man live Houston 1977 kzbin.info/www/bejne/aqDVkGd5g96jj5Y. By 1979 Freddie's grew slightly more powerful, as can be seen on Sheer Heart Attack live in Paris 1979 kzbin.info/www/bejne/lYquXp6XgrNmnZY. Around 1980/1981, he really gained power and range. You can hear it Put Out The Fire kzbin.info/www/bejne/rX-cnZmYZdegpsU, from Hot Space. By 1986 Freddie's voice was really at its most powerful, nothing shows this better then Gimme The Prize kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4u0homQgNd7aas. This song is a real vocal shredder, you don't see many covers of this song. Vocally this might be one of Queen's most difficult songs to sing. Princes Of The Universe is Another hard rocking song that is very difficult to sing. By 1989 you can still hear Freddie's powerful voice and grit on I Want It All. Another difficult hard rocking song is, Was It All Worth It kzbin.info/www/bejne/qXbLinmkrLmWn7M. And then finally we have songs such as The Hitman or Innuendo, Freddie could sing higher then ever, but he lost power in his voice. Which is understandable in his condition. Because of the loss of power he sometimes sounded a bit like he did in the 70's you can especially hear it Don't Try So Hard kzbin.info/www/bejne/mGjOhpZrh8iAp8U.

I Love this Song so much its so Rock, its so me xD. This is the type of Rock I LOVE listening to. I just listened to this song before you uploaded this Video lol. I really love how Freddie is belting with his Voice here, really strong powerful Vocal's, especially in the situation he was in. I Love that Guitar riff and the Strong Bass and Roger's Drumming is Lovely. Everything about this is just Perfect. 8:29 The similarity you probably heard there was Innuendo, the part where Freddie says ''if there's an answer to the questions we feel bound to ask Show yourself destroy our fears release your mask'' it's by the end of the Song. 14:27, the Album is called Made in Heaven, but the song Freddie couldn't complete is Mother Love. Great Reaction. After this you definitely have to see *_''Queen - Was It All Worth It (Official Lyric Video)''_* it also reminds of early Queen. Freddie also thought Was it all worth it would be his last song and a Goodbye. But no he did live 2 more years after that.

The drawing in, the closeness of the band and the want to feel as one as a band as they knew Freddies time was coming to an end was never more expressed when at the time of the Miricle album in 1989 all credits to song writing was credited to Queen and not the individual song writer. Something they expressed later they wished they had done earlier.

Not really my fav song, but if you want to listen to some song from Innuendo, you should react to "I'm going slightly mad". It's where the shot of John with the funny hat comes from. Freddie's very sick, obviously, but he's wearing a disguise and heavy make up so it isn't too painful. Also, it's a funny song and a funny video which includes penguins and a gorilla. Here's the link kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZWZmYyVapV3npI About Innuendo, I think that after the Magic Tour they had lost their appetite a bit, but Freddie's illness made them realise it would all disappear. You know, sometimes you can forget how much something means to you until you lose it. And knowing that it would be their last time, they became hungry again.
