Great dessert idea. I have the dessert bullet. If you have frozen fruit (that's been thawed a few minutes) you can put it through the machine and it makes a sorbet. Very healthy. Thanks for the great ideas. I'd like to grow that fruit.

Thank you Hollis & Nancy!! I needed this uplifting video today! This just cleansed and refreshed my soul guys, thank you so much! That is the most beautiful field/garden area I have ever seen Hollis!! You have done such a beautiful job creating it. I have a similar space that I use to grow produce but have struggled for five years to find the right design for it but I think this would be perfect! I love the cross area and would love to put that right in the middle of my field and plant some flowers around it so I’ve got a beautiful area to pray each morning and when ever the need arises!! I’ve been struggling on getting things done around here cause I’ve had some pretty tough medical issues that have prevented me from getting the house refinanced when it came due so I’m in the fight to not lose it right now but if I get things sorted out, first thing I’m gonna do is put that prayer area in cause without gods help on any of this, none of it would be possible!! I appreciate you both so much Hollis!! Thank you for these videos!!

How do store these melons, and how long do they keep? I can think of one way I'd try. Make the sorbet, fill several ice cube trays with it. Bet they'd be great added to even to just a glass of water. Enjoyed throughout the year. It's aways uplifting to bring a little summer into your life on a cold winters day! TYFS Nancy and Hollis Yummy Chummy 😋

Do you check your whole garden every day to harvest everything or just what you decided what for your meals Nancy?
@HollisNancysHomestead Жыл бұрын
We can stroll through the garden and harvest fresh vegetables for individual meals each day. We can also go through and harvest in bulk to prepare for long term storage. For our salad bar (and some other vegetables) we plant in succession to allow for daily harvesting continuously. It is actually simple once you get everything set up and you get into the rhythm of your garden.

Thank you guys for all the videos! I know this doesn’t pertain to this video but thought it may get lost if added to another one. I live in Texas and when I grow squash, the squash vine borer always get my squash just when they start to produce. Do you have those in FL? How do you combat it? I have tried tin foil, been oil, BT, etc but have not been able to keep them at bay. Thanks in advance!
