As a Discalced Carmelite myself, a Injust wanted to say Carmelite men are Friars, and a few are hermits, but not monks. Monks and nuns are the Religious in enclosed fmonasteries. Herman Cohen is much revered in Carmel today.+

I really wish Roy would if he is indeed Catholic forgo his "Jewish" identity and do as St. Paul prescribed to us all... There is no Jew or Gentile in Christ. Put on the new man in Christ. When he refers to himself as still "Jewish" and his low key calling the brother here a borderline anti-semite (a protestant term, i.e. a non-Christian heretical group). I like Roy, but this victimology egregore needs to end.
