Thanks Pastor Skip. Regarding your discussion about angels, as it says in Ephesians 6:12 we are immersed in a spiritual ocean where there is constant warfare between satan's demons and God's angels. I've often thought about all the horrible calamities that God and His angels have saved me from. And the thing is, you don't really know what those specific things are because they never happened - precisely because God and His angels intervened to prevent them from happening! We are largely unconscious of all the supernatural things going on about us. God bless.

Genesis 29:1-30(Jacob😊❤ marries Leah and Rachel) Genesis 29:1-3 "29 Then Jacob😊❤ went on his journey and came to the land of the people of the east. 2 As he looked, he saw a well in the field, and behold, three flocks of sheep lying beside it, for out of that well the flocks were watered. The stone on the well' s mouth was large, 3 and when all the flocks were gathered there, the shepherds would roll the stone from the mouth of the well and water the sheep, and put the stone back in its place over the mouth of the well."( Genesis 29:1-3 ESV Study Bible, in Genesis 29:2-3 " These verses provide information about the process by which herds were normally watered at this well. In particular, attention is drawn to the large stone that covered the well's mouth."(ESV Study Bible, speaking of " well" it reminds me about John 4:12-14 under the context of John 4:1-45( Jesus and the woman of Samaria) Part of the conversation with Jesus and the woman is John 4:12-14 " 12 Are you greater than our father Jacob? He gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did his sons 😊❤ and his livestocks 😊❤. " 13 Jesus( 😊1st❤) said😊❤ to her( the Samaria woman😊❤), " Everyone who drink of this water will be thirsty again, 14 but😊❤ whoever ( " whoever" means anyone 😊❤) drinks of the water😊❤ that I will give him😊❤ will never be thirsty again. He has been raised from the dead; that is why these miraculoue powers are at work in him." 3 For Herod had seized John and bound him and put him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife, 4 because John had been saying to him, " It is not lawful for you to have her." 5 And though he wanted to put him to death, he feared the people, because they held hin to be a propht. 6 But when Herod's birthday came, the daughter of Herodias danced before the company and please Herod, 7 So that he promised with an oath to give her whatever she might ask. 8 Prompted by her mother, she said, " Give me the head of John the Baptist here on a plater. 9 And the king was sorry, but because of his poaths and his guests he commanded it to be given. 10 He(Herod) sent and had John beheaded in the prison. 11 and his head was brought on a platter and given to the girl, and she brought it to her mother. 12 And his disciples came and took the body and buried it, and they went and told Jesus😊1st❤. Genesis 29:4-8 " 4(a) Jacob said to them, " My brothers, where do you come from?" They said, " We are from Haran( " Haran" do you also remember how Abraham's father, Terah settled in Haran ( in Genesis 11:31b and died in Haran( Genesis 11:32b) suppose only point us back to Genesis 11:32 but for your sake in love in Christ. We open from Genesis 11:31-32 for fuller picture in Chrst. Genesis 11:31-32 "31 Terah( Abraham's dad or Abram's dad) took Abram his son and Lot the son of Haran, his( Terah's) grandson( Lot)and Sarai his daughter- in- law, his son Abram's wife, and they went forth together to Ur( they worship "Moon god Nanna" so it is no good) the Chaldeans to go into the land of Canaan, but when they came to Haran, they settled there(" Haran"). ( Terah( Abraham's dad) had made a wrong choice because where he settled is where he died also in Genesis 11:32 "32 The days of Terah( Abram's dad or Abraham 's dad) were 205 years( shorter in age at their time remember to die), and Terah died in Haran."( Genesis 11:32 ESV Study Bible and above meant to share Genesis 11:31-32 ESV Study Bible) Back to Genesis 29:4 "4 Jacob said to them, " My brothers, where do you come from?" They said, " We are from Haran."( ESV Study Bible)( " Haran" Remembering of Genesis 11:31, 31b( Terah settle there with his family members there ) and Genesis 11:32( where Terah settled was where he died too in Haran, so good thing the Lord God or God called Abram in Genesis 12:1-9( The call😊❤ of Abram( later called by God to be Abraham😊❤)) Right away after Abram's dad died in Haran( Genesis 11:32b) , God had called him( Abram) out of Haran. I remember the Jesus' Show we had watched from the past also describe Matthew 28:2😊❤ too so good😊❤in Jesus our Lord( Jesus😊1st❤) and our savior( Jesus😊1st❤)'s resurrection power of hope in Jesus' resurrection. As a believer, when I have been faced with death, I put my faith in God. When my enemies surrounded me, I put my faith in God. When I had the oppurtunity to escape my enemies, I gave my opportunity to someone else, so that they could escape. I realized I was not in this place to escape. I had been placed here to put my skin in place of others so that they may see that She was always with me, and more importantly that She was always with them.
