I recently bought that same boat. Been waiting to move into my new place so I can start modifying it. I love what you've done to yours.

Nic Radichel thanks so much. Yeah I love it and it is really functional for only being 8’ long. Thanks again!👍🏻

Nic Radichel thanks for the comment! I’d have to say if I did my boat over again I would only put 1 battery in the back compartment. That’s more than enough to run the trolling motor and graph. I’d also spend a little more and get a foot controlled trolling motor. Mine works well and financially made sense but it can get tricky in wind to steer with my foot then move down to the foot switch for power. Other than that I’d say maximize your storage. Whatever you come up with will be awesome because it’s yours and you made it how you want it👍🏻 tight lines my friend!

@@bassin9114 that's a question I had. I have a minnkota Enduramax 55lb I'm planning on mounting to the front and a little fish finder and I didnt know if I should get 2 batteries or maybe just 1 good size one with an onboard battery charger just in case.

Nic Radichel I’d say definitely 1 large with onboard charger should work great. I have the Endura 55 and it is a beast on the boat. For me, I think I’d rather have a foot controlled though. Keep me updated!

Wreck'n them on the chatter bait! Ever have any problems with the trolling motor clamps digging into the plastic of the bow? I have the same boat and have been thinking of mounting the motor up front but been waiting till I make some sort of protective plate.

James Harper yeah that was a good day for the chatterbait for sure! The motor marred the plastic a little from retightening over and over so since this video I picked up a piece of 3/16 steel from a local welder and clamped the motor on using that. No more issues.
