I just installed these today. Rather than lowering the axle so much, I used a floor jack with a 2x4 scrap to force the leaf spring up so I could slide the block in. Also left the wheels on and did one side completely at a time. Hope it helps. Nice truck!!

I just had a 2 inch level in front and a 2 inch block added to the rear...the kit was from Zone off road. According to instructions, and after calling tech support to verify....said to leave factory block on, add the new block above it. Mines is a 2018 Z71 ....put a set of STT Pros in 285/65/18. love it

Doing this same thing to my Sierra in a couple days. Put a level kit on it and it always looks like a dog sitting down. Especially when i had my kid and my dirt bike and gear and everything loaded in the back. So I got a 3 inch block to replace my 1.5” block that’s in the back to give it an inch and a half rake back to it.

I might use this to make my truck level. My truck only has a 1" rake from factory so if I get a 2" rough country leveling kit, I'm going to be squated 1 inch. So if I buy a 2in block for the rear to replace the 1in that's already there, it should be exactly level.

Looks good man. I put bilstien 5100s which give 1.85 inch plus a 1.5 lower lift block along with a 3 inch rear block. Hey I have question. So my family and myself have been blessed with the opportunity to move to Nashville, Tenn. I have always been a pick-up truck fan but where I lived previously I could never justify getting one. Now that I’m here I can for a number of reasons. I started looking at pickups and to my surprise they are up there in price. So my question to you bc I’m new to the south and the culture. I see people with brand new pick ups and they have them lifted and put on incredible rims and tires (love it) but are people here buying these trucks outright? Bc you can’t modify a lease or a finance unless it’s paid in full? Just curious bc I would love to join the “club.”

good stuff and liked John :) So I ended up just keeping the XD820's 20x10 in Satin black/305/55/R20 Ridge Grapplers going on Sat morn. I drop truck off tomm eve...So I ordered the Motofab 2.5" front 2" rear which sounds exactly like what you did. Any advice I should pass along to the shop? I have read the front upper ball joint getting it popped out and back in is a pain. I would guess they will do the job on a lift? Anyway perhaps I can make a vid after it gets done to show it...

Yes, the upper ball joint was a pain, but they should have better tools than I do at the shop, lol. And yes, I'd also assume they'll do it all on a lift, it'll make the job wayyy easier than the way I did it. Please show it when done, I can even give you my email address to shoot a photo over if you don't upload on the Tube!!

Heyy!! Ride quality stayed the same up front, I hear guys that go the 3” route though have a little rougher ride because everything is all the way cranked up at that point just like cranking the keys on a 3/4 ton... the rear is good also but factory shocks are a little overextended so you notice when hitting larger bumps and stuff. Didn’t get the extensions, was just going to get longer shocks but I haven’t yet 🙈
