So glad to see you again Sweetheart you’re enthusiasm is contagious and Wow another fantastic recipe I enjoyed the plant based ideas too! Also liked making extra extra to freeze for later.

Thanks so much! I really appreciate your comments, John Carroll! If you freeze some, put the individual servings in gallon size ziplock bags (make sure it's closed properly) and lay them flat in your freezer. You can fit them better with other items that way. Don't forget to write the date! 😉

I love the look of both techniques for making the meat sauce and I am not a vegan so I would be making the regular sauce and have some spaghetti to pour the sauce over. I thank you for sharing this recipe with us all and I want to wish you and your family a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

@@TheLastMinuteCook Debra, It's much easier than it looks! The Center for Home Food Preservation is the best resource on the internet, and it's all free. nchfp.uga.edu/index.html. Or, if you want a printed copy, you can find their book on Amazon for about $7. There are some great Ball canning books that are helpful, too. Low acid foods like meats, green beans, carrots, etc., all have to be pressure canned. Jams, jellies, tomato products, etc., can be water bath canned. I'd be glad to answer any questions I can. I started canning in 1976, so it's been awhile. I've never had any issues with my canned foods yet, I'm happy to say. 😊

Thank you so much for writing all this good info - canning since 1976 means you've earned some stripes! I will check out the links! Thanks for offering to answer questions! 😀

@@TheLastMinuteCook You're welcome! Also, if interested, I can give you some other KZbin channels that I trust implicitly, women (and men) dedicated to giving safe canning advice. )So many out there give misinformation.) Also, one of the the ones I trust just announced she is going to do a canning workshop in January.

Are you plant base?
@TheLastMinuteCook4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for asking! Yes and no, because I eat plant based most of the time, but I still cook up omnivore meals for the family. So I cook both for my channel, since that's what I do at home 😀
