0:53 Choosing the Bezier curve object does not work for me, I tried writing this in by hand and I tried the eye dropper tool to no avail. I also tried dragging Circle from Scene collection tree, no bueno.

But why does parenting the cube/plane, not distort the cube? Is there an advanced reason I just dont understand? (Im a beginner) I feel like there should be an array option for "distort or not" but maybe theres a deeper reason. Maybe not, maybe its just a quirk.

for anyone who wants to make the duplication vertical not horizontal like me, just put the value of factor X ( at 0:45) to 0 and Y to any value you like.
