I love your fabric choice for mixer cover and bowl cozies. The Crafty Gemini (Vanessa) does a good tutorial on bowl cozies. I’m so high right now I could probably get quite a bit done with 2 meters of fabric by end of November. No I’m not on drugs. Starting October 28 I was told by 3 Doctors I had cancer. So the day before Thanksgiving here in the U.S. I had a endoscopic procedure and this Dr. came & told us absolutely no evidence of cancer was detected. I do need to have my gallbladder removed. Yeah ! Best Thanksgiving ever!!

Your stand cover is beautiful but if it’s a Kitchen Aid it should be out on display in your kitchen. It’s iconic! Don’t hide it away! What beautiful fabric. Yes be careful about everything being cotton if it’s going in the microwave! I’m the slowest sewer on earth by the way.

I have so little counter space that keeping my mixer on the counter would interfere with cooking. 😔 I think we might be in a battle for being the slowest sewist!

I keep wanting to make bowl cozies with my quilting cotton, but I don’t have 100% cotton batting and always forget to get some!! They would make such fun gifts and every time I heat up food in the microwave I wish I had one of them.

I know the feeling! Perhaps you could use a few layers of cotton fabric for the batting?
