2 MILLION SCOVILLE: The Spice Challenge at Houston Hot Chicken

Do you have what it takes to eat the hottest chicken in town?
We visit the brand-new Houston’s Hot Chicken in the 18b Arts District in downtown Las Vegas to try the 2 million scoville Houston, We Have a Problem chicken tender. While we were at it, we did the same spice challenge that local viral food influencer Keith Lee took on, trying each of the spice levels.

With four locations open in the Las Vegas valley and two more under construction, Houston’s TX Hot Chicken is a local business based right here in town. The grand opening challenge was amazing to watch. All of those people chowing down on 2mill scoville chicken fingers. Some of them ate THREE whole tenders! I tried one bite and I was down on the ground in seconds. But I recovered. Some nice person gave me a glass of milk and I was 100% back on track in a few seconds. So, yes, it's do-able but I'm with Ramone on this, next time I'll just stick with the medium. Great chicken. Great people. I recommend stopping in and trying their lemonades, too.
