Tornadoes and floods devastated Gulf Coast states
The storm is moving east, issuing multiple warnings and alerts from Texas to Florida. There were reports of tornadoes in Louisiana and Texas, with one person killed in the storm in Mississippi.
A flash flood emergency was declared in the New Orleans area, where the National Weather Service said many roads in and around the city were flooded and impassable.

Ce sont les péchés de leurs pères alors !... on doit aux aînés la pollution, la betonisation, le non respect des zones innondables, des marais assécher qui ne font plus barrage... le changement climatique était annoncé depuis 30 ans déjà et la non préparation est flagrante alors que ces drames étaient prévisibles... Pas de digues surelevees, en suffisance et en bon état, pas de curetage des lits des fleuves et rivières, pas de prévisions des risques dans les constructions d'habitation ou des gens en bord de mer vivent au rez-de-chaussée de chaussée... c'est une bêtise qui coûte cher en vies humaines... Avéc les alertes météo pas toujours suivies de mesures d'urgence de la part des préfets et des maires pour les habitants.... il devrait y avoir des parking surélevés pour garer les voitures en hauteur le temps des crues, puis ne plus vivre au rez-de-chaussée de chaussée... il faut s'inspirer des maisons flottantes des Hollandais...

C'est catastrophique ces images .... j'espère qu'il n'y a pas des victimes humaines et animales .... Courage à tous dans ce drame climatique ... beaucoup de pays font face a de telles inondations, comme ici en France ... certains vivent leur 4ème innondations en quelques mois .. les assureurs ne veulent plus les prendre comme assurés... nous avons beaucoup de cotes donc beaucoup de sinistrés ...
