Hah! I knew aobut this game from months ago. It's a pretty fun Vampire Survivor-esque game. It had a demo which I played, dunno if it's still out, but highly recommend it. There's a second game that's basically the same thing but FPS-like.

Yeah. Soulstone Survivors is WAY better. Great character progression system, lots of depth, lots of skills and viable builds, so each run feels meaningful and progresses you. The only issue with it is the low visibility of the targeting circles on the ground when all effects are going crazy. It can be fixed with a game update though since most players complain about it. Alternatively you can even limit the effects to make the game more visible if that becomes a problem. The only other thing that annoyed me was the fact that Space = Dash but also Space = Select powerup, so I constantly selected powerups by accident when dashing around and happening to get a levelup. But I discovered that you can change the "select powerup" keybind in the settings which totally solved that! ;) I really love this game. It's super fun!

The fact that it's an auto battle is really odd to me, not my favorite type of game, but this one is interesting

Give the other game that is more like an FPS a try, then; you actively use your skills there, instead of auto-battle. It's all the same stuff, just a different format, really cool; last I knew there was a demo for both of them, which is what I played.
