Lots of stuff in that bag. I prefer to use my tp3b for initial diagnostics on every call, so mine has general stuff to figure out what the problem is, meter, one channel lock, one multi driver, pressure gauge, etc. Then once the customer wants to repair, I have pack out bags set up for different tasks, one for toilets, one for fixtures, one for copper sweat, one for pex, etc. keeps things tidy and efficient, and in each bag, there is a tackle box with common parts, china caps, bolts etc in toilet pack out. Basically everything that I used to forget and cause a trip to the truck, is now in each bag, the amount of work I can get done in a day and my pay, exploded after setting up this way.

Those are called ECX bits. They are a combination of a square and slotted bit. The #1 is used for electrical devices. The #2 is used for conduit connectors and certain branded breakers. Electricians use them all the time.

Recently switched to the TP4b; after receiving one through the free promotion, I'm liking it a lot more than I thought I would. I was afraid a meter wouldn't fit in it as well as my TP3, but it fits fine sideways. The pocket layout is excellent and gives you JUUUUST that extra amount of space to carry a little more without getting cluttered or over-loading the bag. That impact is the cat's ass, I used and abused mine for nearly 4yrs and it never gave me any problems - unfortunately I left it on a call recently. :/ Thanks for the vid.

I thought I was the only one that preferred the Irwin over the Knipex. For the exact same reason you mentioned 👍

I know right and a third of the price !!! Didnt know what all the hype was about not buying knipex again Haha

@@zdjohnson97 😁 I got two pairs of cobra pliers just sitting on the shelf. They are practically brand new. Live and learn I guess.

@@45asunder1 for sure I dont know how people use the knipex your constantly fighting with the thing to shorten it and make it bigger two hand operation . Irwin's you can use with one hand lol . I have three of the small ones all in different bags 👊

The tip you shaved from your pex cutter is to remove/cut uponor/wirsbo rings, and yes it is very sharp, nice tool bag, though, try the Raptor plumbing tools, they’re awesome too!
@zdjohnson974 жыл бұрын
Sounds good I've always just used the main cutting side to remove rings cause you can cut it all the way down to the fitting . For sure I'll give it a shot

Knipex makes quick adjustment version also that works exactly like the irwins you have and they are actually cheaper then the knipex you already have 👍

Hey I am 17 years old and I watch all your videos and love the content your putting out! I always see videos on KZbin tho and when I go to try things myself I don’t have the tools required to do so, recently I have been using a box from a tool I bought on amazon, as my tool box, I duct taped the whole thing and put the few tools I have,inside the box , I am not trying to say I’m a charity case but I definitely would consider myself a little less fortunate than you. I was wondering if maybe you would be interested in getting rid of some of your old tools and stuff you no longer use, and I can put it all to great use. I would love to inherit tools from a guy like you

Veto are missing a trick here. This little bag was made to be worn on the waist, but everybody seems to use it as a small open tote...They should produce a proper 9" or 10" tote and it would fly off the shelves...

That head lamp strap isn’t broke. It’s just undone. Funny a mechanical guy couldn’t tell that. 😜

What kills me about these reviews is why guys show the load out and focus so much on the there tools. Load out is very personal and really unnecessary on reviewing. What guys want to know is about the pouch lots of detail about the pouch it size and size of pockets etc and all its features not about how its loaded to how an individual wants it???
@zdjohnson974 жыл бұрын
Go on their website and look at the specs then Go some where else if you want to know what the thread count of the bag is Showing you how its loaded out and what fits in each pocket . Feel free to think for yourself and think what might fit in there

I thought you were a plumber, but if you're an ac tech you still don't need a meter cause they don't understand electricity (any one of them I have met after they blow the control fuse in their own equipment and then tell me that my power is not on.) Maybe you do but you sound like you've been smoking a lot of weed and live in Canada so you are pretty much not in the know on electrical, listening to you I recommend that you nothing to do with electricity.
