i prefer to watch and create these slower more chill paced videos. The intense and fast paced content has a place but its too much for me! I think some things dont need to be min/maxed you know. Somethings just need to be enjoyed/appreciated for what its worth! Very happy you and others like the vids!

The older I get the more I need relaxing content between the faster paced stuff. Can't watch anything with people who yell. Even taken some of my older favorite games and started running them extremely long term. The seasonal rinse and repeat action has no depth to me. It's crazy how finally the algorithm has led me to you. I 've been playing sapphire and firered all summer, without even realizing it's been 20 years since firered's release. I am older than you, so replaying firered brings nostalgia from the original red when I was a kid, only the 3rd gen is my favourite so I am feeling SO good doing it. Trying to complete the pokedex in firered (sitting at 380) and listening to music and documenting my ev training and movesets on paper, just like you. I don't have emerald to test teams at the battle frontier but i'm having lots of fun at the orre colosseum at pokemon colosseum's battle mode, esp the double battles. Oh, and as I was resetting for Rayquaza's nature I got blessed with a Shiny too, only in my 4th reset! When I was a kid, I'd never imagine that as a grown man I would witness him in Colosseum in all his mighty glory, so I guess I got a win for younger me :) Keep it up, you are awesome

Nice video! That team you're working on is definitely for the patient, so much fun to build something from scratch that isn't used by everybody though. Kingdra is a beast - don't feel bad, haha, I'm working on a team right now too of Ampharos, Vileplume, and Kingdra for the Pike/Pyramid. It's tough after those first two sets to lock in cause you've been spamming and one shotting most stuff up to that point, and its such a punishment when you lose your streak to be back trudging through NFEs lol. But, your team is TUFF so keep at it! Looking forward to seeing more, love your style.

I got my first gold medal from the battle dome just the other day, but it took 2 tries going through the whole thing since I lost the first time from a crit. Now I’m currently trying the battle tower. On my second attempt from just barely losing a win streak of 55 😭. The AI is no joke with their luck, but still having so much fun.

Bro I have been doing the same grind recently. Team has been a rotation of Scizor, Swampert, Alakazam and Aerodactyl. Only have 1 Gold symbol and 1 Silver. Looking forward to the next update.

yo, I’m doing battle frontier too inspired by you. I wanted to suggest you find out your pokemon’s Hidden Power types. I know you don’t use emerald’s duplication glitch on TMs, but hidden power can give really useful coverage. I got lucky with my scizor and he has fighting type which comes in handy a ton. i have four silver symbols so far!
