2 NEW SPECIES! Ledgering on the River Ribble! 2️⃣ 🎣! (4K)

2 New River Species for me on the River Ribble! 1 is a fish I have caught before, but with my dad so technically I'm not counting and the other is a fish I've been after for a long time!! We head down to the River Ribble with the intention of ledgering for Chub and safe to say the Chub didn't make the appearance we thought they would. Some of you will question how I haven't caught one of these before, but somehow or other I've avoided them completely!
Some great fun and some great action. Ledgering is a very effective method for catching fish, even if it can be abit tedious at times! We are using various baits and having a good old laugh doing some River Ribble fishing!

Now then my son 👍🏽😀👍🏽😀. Here’s me think my old man was the king of eel fishing !!! He always catches one when he’s barbel & chub fishing and he hates the things. They always go back safe though and nice to see as they’ve been a bit scarce over the last few years so well done. Catching mr . Barbel too !!! What a guy …. Lure fishing for perch ( any owt else that came along ) … had 2 perch in a few casts so was well chuffed until a load of kids decided to go late swimming …. That was it for me as theirs only a couple of pegs to fish and it’s a free stretch and only 20 minutes from home so can’t grumble. I was gunna go to the swale and wish I had. Weathers been crazy hot so you don’t blame them do ya 😳🤔😳🤔🤣🤣🤣

Great video,,ive fished there, is there anywhere I go fishing you haven't 😀,, its a bloody good stretch,, n a beautiful spot , some real gems in there if you put the effort in , had 11 species in a day ,, if you want information let me know spent some years there in past... keep up the good work brings back memories.

It's private and you have to pay to park aswell,, not been a member for years now , , not enough day tickets on the ribble for those who can't get out n make a season ticket worth paying.
