Saturday to Monday with 2 nights in the Wild Nephin National Park in Mayo. Starting at Bangor Erris and climbing Slieve Carr from the North, with a cold summit wild camp at 721m. A drop down along the Eastern corrie loughs the next day, past Scardun Loughs and wonderful waterfalls to the Bangor Trail. Lots of squelching took me to a new bothy at the Tarsaghaunmore River for a first bothy overnight in a stunning location. Followed the remainder of the Bangor Trail the next morning back to Bangor Erris. A walk of 36km with 1,400m of ascent/descent.
