Man, I am 40 and in law enforcement in Australia. I learn so much from you. Can you please show how to control someone who is thrashing their arms too much. Just by Grappling not kicking or punching. That is easy. But by wrestling

Hey coach. Been grappling for a year now (wrestling and done jits) i can do drills on a cooperative partner like the best of em. But when it comes to sparring, ESPECIALLY for wrestling, I get stuck and do t think of what to do on time … help??

random guy throwing out his opinion: have a clear game plan. know where you want to be (your position) form where you want to execute your take downs. know your takes downs and there defences, ( 2:55 like these examples Coach uses to explain option in this position. ) and what is likely to come about in the scrambles. stick too you game plan. keep finding ways to make it work when you opponent doesn't let you and knows its coming. it takes time and effort. got to keep turning up. do your home work too. but having a clear game plan. is the key to the whole thing, imo. hope that helps a bit. if you don't write down your moves and what you learn in classes already, then start that habit too. it will help you to be clearer on what you game plan in. best wishes, be safe. ❤🙏
