I think I saw this when someone built the world's fastest Ford Flathead V8. This was how they got around some of the limitations of the flathead cam design.

Press fit? How are the housing located, indexed, and sealed at the block bore / bearing housing interface? The oil supply tubes? Does this result in a floating bearing housing?

Can't cost much more than the price of a fuel dragster engine. Something not mentioned, how are they installed? what keeps them in the bore without clearance between the cam bore and the od of the bearing. What force does it take to install 5 at once or are the installed with very strong but little bitty tiny hands, piece by piece? I bet everyone is doing this instead of a turbo.
