There are not a lot of film makers out there like you. That is the reason you got me as a subscriber. People are so lazy and not willing to learn how to pull focus, which is one of the major skills of a film maker (nailing focus)

I honestly can't use any auto feature on a camera. If I run it in auto / program it lowers or raises the shutter too much or boost the iso too much. Focus is always wrong in auto and if it works, it either focuses on a thing wich I didn't wanted it to. Or it is pulsing ect.. I am a panasonic mirrorless and a canon dslr user manual all the way is the way to go.

Love using my EVA1. Yes, it doesn’t have autofocus, but it does have a lot of great features and a beautiful image.

2 things I love about Panasonic that no other camera is capable of overtake for now, is that the dynamic range and how the colors look on their sensors.. you instantly fall in love with this no matter which other brand you are using.. btw, I see some banding in the sky , don't know if it is because of the KZbin compression..but it is there.. otherwise the footage looks dope.. anyway, when is the native Panasonic lens review coming ???

There is some banding as I didn't really grade it perfectly still got minor tweaks on hsl to work with and tint to correct but on the final music video it won't be on there. You got a great eye even for youtube compression 👍 good stuff my guy

There both great cameras fx3 just gives you a smaller form factory but eva1 is cinema look

So, I have the Eva1 and S1H. Thinking about putting my Eva1 on a steadicam rig with vest and arm. Then my S1H on the shoulder rig/handheld because of its amazing IBIS. Orrrrr would you swap these set ups? The idea is I can grab a set up and go. Wven switch between them.

Hey Mario, love your channel! I own a bunch of the same gear as you, including the Eva and the S1h. Question for you about an issue I've had a couple of times recently and wanted to know if you've run into the same thing. (and how you fixed it. haha) I've been shooting some interviews with the Eva (23.98 10bit 422 internal and prores 422HQ via the Shogun Inferno) and I've been getting these weird color splotches on some of the white walls when I apply color correction. They band from magenta to green when I convert vlog to 709. Ever ran into this?

Investigating this problem in some filming with Eva I came to the conclusion that they occur as a result of the storage media. I usually use External HD and sometimes when transferring from SDXC to HD some videos from HD get these problems. Since I don't use External SSD, my Imac is Thunderbolt 2, I realized that it has something to do with the read and write speeds.

Its very simple. I just keep the cameras on vlog and its lowest native iso setting. Unless there's other settings you might like to know?

@@amthemusic7632 no I always shoot in log and sharpness I never touch it. I feel I get the best footage when I shoot in log night or day time just more play with colors and dynamic range

I just surprisingly won the S1H so I am trying my best to be prepared when I receive it. I use a GH5 right now and I do pretty good with controlling the color and dynamic range but honestly you are one of the most polished videographers in terms of presentation & color control! You and YCimaging make the KZbin compression look like iMax 😂 Grateful for the words my brother thank you.
