2 SERIOUS MISTAKES ON REAL TEST: Leaner makes mistakes on roundabouts

This is a video of a real test. Unfortunately the learner didn't pass but hopefully you can learn from it.
It was filmed in Mill Hill and I give you a talk through of what is happening as recording audio on the test is not allowed.
One of the faults happens near the end of the video so make sure you want it to see what it is. It is on a junction that a lot of learners fail on for the same mistake.

I falied coming out of the test center and I'm kicking myself. The rest of the drive was fine and I would have passed if it wasn't for that one dumb decision. Definetly be patient coming out and wait for the examiner to tell you to come out.

I did 1 major mistake at junction when turning right could wait a bit more when road is cleared , other then test was so easy

at 16:28 minutes roundabout sign is not visible properly ,hiding behind tree branches and distance is short to slowdown properly

That’s probably why so many learners miss it. I never looked at it like that. Maybe it’s because I know it’s there.

Hi out of curiosity what time was this? Iv tried to read it out the dash cam but it’s really small. My test is at mill hill on Thursday so would really help knowing if I could potentially do this route.

it has it written backwards , it says 12:56pm by the time they are at apex corner.

14:00 - you can exit from the right lane?

It’s not the best lane to exit from. The main thing is to check your mirrors properly as you exit.

Yes because its a right turn It's very important If you dont its a serious fault As you are not telling people which exit your taking and other people joining the mini roundabout wouldn't know what exit your taking and your going to cause a confusion.

@@genesisyt4763 He failed at Apex because he spent too much time focusing on the lane markings, maybe even the sat nav distracted him common problem learners have sometimes the brain tells you to stop when you get to stop lines forgetting that the lights override them.
