Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've been struggling with getting five receiver flight modes working for days, and I found the answer in the first minute of your video.I was missing that I needed to assign my Aux2 Channel to FMode. Once I did that I got my five receiver modes working. Excellent!

Thanks for the video its real good, I just got the AR630 and I am so scared to go up because this is so complicated. I think one thing that would be nice in these videos you make and others is go simple from start to finish. Talk about configuring AS3X for 3 settings off and 2 sets of gains. Then move on to setting up safe. Configure it top to bottom like a umx turbo timber is configured. When you stop and point out advanced features or start mixing in gain captures, copying flight modes, digital percentages on a switches everybody gets lost because they dont get the simple configs.

Did you get up in the air..? How’s the AS3X doing?

Bloody complicated! We got the simplicity technology and absolutely amazing to use today! Omg, it looks like rocket science lesson!😢

Thanks so much for this! You did a great job with organization and presentation.

It makes way more sense to use the transmitter's flight modes for separate trim settings for each position of the flaps. The transmitter's flight modes don't need to be associated with the receiver's flight modes. They are separate entities. Just assign a switch to an unused channel and use that channel to control the receiver's flight modes.

I have an ix12 and cannot activate forward programming on my night timber x. It says Navigation timed out... Is this receiver not capable of this? I am not using safe..

I think spektrum could do with your video! Very comprehensive, shame I have to buy more new gear for it to work though...

I was hoping you'd explain what Gains actually is.

Thanks for all your efforts but wish you could have made it a little more simple for us idiots with only a degree in Medicine.

question. I bought some 9.9volt 3200 smart reciever packs. Is it ok to run these packs on 6 volt rated servos? I wouldnt wanna burn up my servos...especially in flight

Hate to comment again but I couldnt figure out why As3X wasnt working when it was showing "on" in a flight mode, just playing around I realized that the Fix/Adjustable gain was set to "adjustable" by default once I changed it to "fixed" bingo As3x was working but I had no idea why just put it in my notes. Now I know it defaulted every gain to 0 so it was on, showed on, but no gains set so shaking the plane had no effect. How the heck did you figure out it did that? I cant thank you enough for these videos!

Ditto... I'm using an NX6. Fix/Adjustable Gains must be changed to Fixed.

For some reason, maybe me beeing stupid :), I can not as with the AR636 usage get the L Trim on my ix12 go to enough high and low values so I can get that Trim button be used for changing the AS3X gains (instead of the suggested Right knob). I only get it to go to +29 to -29 in the monitorview ?!!?, which results that I can only change the gain a little, not from 0 to 100 %.

When assigning the trim to the channel, there is the option of Digital and Analog. Make sure you're choosing the Analog one.
@larshedlin26014 жыл бұрын
@@MiguelFAlvarez , thanks very much ! It is now working fine ! The reason I wanted to use the L Trim was that I have the F Mode at the D switch and then it is more safe to have the left hand to operate the Left Trim for gain adjustment as I have 1 cm to the D switch if something goes wrong and I have to go to F Mode 1 without AS3X etc .

Spektrum blew it due to the complexity to set up this receiver. If you can make it through all the setup and test flights to tune the settings then you don't need Safe or AS3X which seem to be oriented to a novice.
@RC-Flight3 жыл бұрын
You have made a great point! If you have to test fly it several times before you can actually use AS3X and SAFE, you have learned how to fly LOL
