Wow, you really cracked the marketing code. I don't run a business. But as a consumer of products, services & information, I gravitate towards what resonates with me. Artificial intelligence seems to have infiltrated the KZbin ad space & it's cringy tbh. The robotic & repetitive voice does not resonate with me. But your personality & logic shine through. You really know how to sell yourself. You had my full attention. I heard somebody say we're competing in an attention economy.

How do you reach your ideal customer? We’re a new store and having a hard time getting new customers.

@haleyjo it all starts with knowing who YOU (your store) are! Begin by asking yourself some of those questions from the video: What do you love about your store? What are you passionate about? What are your values, the criteria you use when deciding on merchandise for your store? And what feeling does your store (design, layout, products) inspire? Once you know those things, it's easier to start figuring out your ideal customer. Who are they? What social media platforms do they prefer? What do they care about? Then target your marketing to THAT person, where they will see it most! I also recommend prioritizing growing your email list to start reaching more of your ideal customers: bit.ly/3z8MU8c

Those customers are not your people! By going through the steps in this video, you'll clarify who YOU are, which then will help you clarify who your ideal customer is - and they won't be the ones who value discounts over experience or quality (although those customers do play a role in your store too, when you do a clearance sale). Then your marketing and merchandising and the product mix you choose, will all be tailored to your ideal customer.
