It'd be great to see you get a little project bike. Maybe give this one some basic TLC. Fork oil, rear shock oil, bearings, grease pivot pounts etc.

I’m gonna go buy my first dirtbike next week, it’s a 1974 Yamaha gt80 but it doesn’t run. I’ve never worked on bikes before, just cars here and there, thanks for the information. Hopefully I can put it to use! Haha

I have the 1981 model. And it's been standing years. mine has spark but it just won't start. Cleaned the carb but still no start.

What about your tank was it rusted. Mine is rusted. I am trying to get it started please help me. Mine don't have a battery too and I need a shock absorber for it it uses a mono shock under the seat

Hi I can't get my 1981 MR 50 to start. It has spark. Please can you check what is your compression it it just a 50 CC so compression will not be that high. Do you still have this bike. Pls help me.
