I have also been using it for months with no visible difference in eyelash growth or dimenishment in dark eye circles. I have noticed my eyes aren’t as dry so that’s a plus. I saw on another platform to use the dark Jamaican castor oil for the eyes…maybe I’ll try that. Another plus is the reoccurring type bump that I had for years in the fold of my ear is finally gone.

@@stephaneislistening6103Cysts or swollen lymph nodes in the breast. I've also heard that it works for tumor and breast cancer too. Castor oil has the ability to break-up the bumps and lumps, shrinking it down through daily usage; by rubbing it to the area of the lumps or with a castor oil pack.

One castor oil use that was not mentioned is for menstrual cramps. I don't even know if it's something other people use it for, I just gave it shot one time because I don't take tylenol, advil, or any of their knock offs for period pain. I just rub castor oil on my lower abdomen and lower back. A hot water bottle enhances the effect. I go from having trouble standing upright because of the pain to only having moderate pain. If I have to sleep while cramping I am able to, instead of being kept awake. One reason to use castor oil at least as part of a hair oil mix is that it helps other oils wash out better. Castor oil reacts with both normal shampoo and soap nut based shampoo to create more suds, which helps get the excess oil off your scalp and out of your hair.

I was diagnosed with psoriasis and prescribed steroid creams. I did a bunch of research on castor oil and I have not had to use the steroid cream in over a month. I started it at night now I’m doing twice a day. I’d much rather use castor oil than steroid cream any day I’m gonna try it on my eyelashes and under my eyes next Thanks for the info

Yes, castor oil is an old school remedy; unfortunately, we don't use it like my grandmother's generation once did.

Grandma used to give it to my sister when she was constipated. Grandma used to take a teaspoon every day. I use it for wrinkles & for my hair! I will try it for pain too. I heard it breaks up tumors. 🙏🙏🙏

Your information is great. I just started using the oil on my shoulder and knees it really helps, but I have to wear old joggers and long sleeves to bed to protect the sheets. Now I have other options. Thanks

I tend to have dry flaky skin on my legs. The rest of my body, including my face, tends to be dry. Regular creams often irritate my skin, feel too sticky, or just don't moisturize enough. I'm allergic to fragrance chemicals so there are many products I simply cannot use. As a result, I began using oils on my skin long ago, but just a few months ago I switched to castor oil. The skin on my legs is now supple and my facial skin has become very soft. Given what I heard in your talk, I'm going to use castor oil on my dark circles and see if they'll fade. I'm also going to try it on my eyelashes. I'd love to have lush eyelashes!

Hey there Dr. Ruscio, Would it be safe to assume if you are taking oral capsules for joint point pain that it would also move your bowels even if you didn’t need that ?

Logic suggests if you take castor oil internally that ingestion will likely affect your bowels in much the same way magnesium may. Because castor oil can induce uterine contraction pregnant women probably shouldn’t use castor oil either

I've applied castor oil all around my eyes and eyelids for the last five years, I have no crows feet or wrinkles at all. Also, it helped to lightened the dark circles too.

Can Castor oil used on the skin affect the bowels by making them too loose? I like using it on my skin - it makes my legs very soft and very supple. But lately I wonder if it is causing loose stools. Can it go through the skin?

Everything goes through the skin. Rule of thumb: if you wouldnt eat it, dont put it on your skin. Castor oil is amazing! But of course has varying effects depending on where you apply it or how you consume it. Godspeed

You have to use it religiously every day. It will take up to 1-3 months. Everyone is different.

I have tried castor oil on my eyelashes but my eyes seem to get red and look bloodshot by it. Does that mean I may be sensitive to it ?

Possibly - it’s also possible that some of the oil may be getting into the eye from that close of an application, which could irritate you.

Do a patch test first and wait for 48 hours see if you have a reaction. If you dont do a patch test and are alergic you will be very sorry...especially if you used it on your face!
