I've been on two waitlists for over a year and a half. As a joke I bought a parody watch that looks like the Ti Yacht-Master just to wear as a "test drive". It's in steel but has the black ceramic looking bezel. It's called a Yuck-Master (I find this kinda funny). I'm glad I bought it. The black bezel, despite the numbers and minute markers being highly glossy, is virtually unreadable in most light. How's is that any good for a tool watch? I took my name off the wait lists. It's not worth it, and not a great effort from Rolex...

I have a Tudor pelagos LHD I don’t think it’s easy to finish titanium to polish to the same as a stainless steel bracelet etc

How is Titanium scratch resistent? 😁

Rolex has plenty of experience with Titanium from all the Pelagos (Tudor) models they produced for many years and the Deepseqa Challenge in RLX Titanium - nothing new for them. Titanium is a bit harder to machine - but once you have the machines - it's just churning them out. Also - please don't "hate" a clasp. It's a very strong and emotional word for a piece of metal 😀

Fake scarcity. Tudor Pelagos available on demand below retail. Almost all brands have used Ti for decades.
