I just gotta say Chloe is very good with the camera work and a super good sport. Your videos helped me get through my Radiation and Chemo treatments last winter and Ive been able to get out riding in the Fernie area 8 days so far this season. Super happy being back on the sled after missing all of last season. Keep up the great work.

Great videos as always. If you get a chance you should make a video about loading and unloading sleds onto a sled deck. Lots of new folks doing this and some struggle with it. Tips and tricks. Especially with the newer trucks being much taller. Cheers and ride safe.

I've got the same sled this year and I've had a similar track ratcheting problem non stop. hopefully you have more luck than I do cuz I've tightened mine up 5 times in 200 miles

I noticed the gen5 still has that crazy vibration/growl from the track. Really wish there was a way to make that batter. I know on my gen4 I've tried both, loosening, and tightening the track and it doesn't seem to make much difference. Look forward to your videos this season !

(Looks at radar/satellite history) Oh, you already have what we had yesterday, and it was warm and rained in the valley. Looks like it just dumped up top and it should continue to do so. 8pm and 34F (groan) I haven't actually looked at anything but PNW radar but it looks like with the current storm track you are picking up what we lay down 20 hours later in terms of weather. So, it will rain in the valley, probably all night, but up top it should be getting snow basically dangerously quickly, and it is likely to be somewhat denser than average. The snow level should drop closer to the deck tomorrow night Tomorrow might be alright, but the light will be super flat. Thursday and Friday a couple more storms roll through. Have fun, ride safe, and if you could, make a pit after the storm passes, it may be interesting.

The Freezing Rain, I was watching that since I paying attention to conditions North of the CA/OR border up to about where you are and I saw it was FR below like 1000 feet off the valley floor. I am wondering what this next system, the one that just swept out of here (Portland) is going to end up doing. It is a warm one, it was 54F today chucking buckets of water down. 3.64" yesterday, 1.99" so far today with 35mph sustained winds and 54 mph gusts. You should get a wild one. :popcorn:

Does the Finger throttle work well as a thumb throttle? I installed a finger throttle, but due to an injury and a couple of surgeries on my right hand/wrist, it exhausts my finger within minutes. I spun it around but haven't tried it yet. Thought of selling it, but might keep it as a thumb throttle rather than going back to the Axys OEM block that packs with snow and causes cruise control. I guess keeping it also gives the option of going back and forth from finger to thumb.
