It would still be considered lost media even if someone animated it as the official animation (which I believe was done by Nickelodeon Animation Studio) remains unseen, assuming any animation was done for the episode as its also entirely possible that never happened. Having said that, however unlikely it may be given Viacom's tendency to be overly protective of their properties, I'd absolutely love to see a completed fan animation for this as it honestly would've made for a great episode.

I hardly ever watched the original show but when I heard the audios and voice were developed but the visuals never were, I had to look into this. And this right here, I hope this gets seen one day by the team that made the show. Seriously something special that captured the audio perfectly.

This is certainly fun to watch! It has the makings of an actual episode, right down to the title card. I’m a little unsure about the ending part, though. I always thought the following would happen. The beavers wave to the viewer. After “Bye... bye........ Daggy...”, the whole scene would go black and show the words “THE END” while the beavers’ voices are heard. Then when the beavers pull away the The End curtains and exclaim, “APRIL FOOL!”, it’s revealed that all is back to normal. Then iris out one last time. This will be a reanimation project, so I guess anything goes!

Yeah, and the beginning would’ve had a “Beaver Dam” establishing shot, while Norb gets the Newspaper after hearing the Doorbell (hence why Norb said, “Maybe they’re collecting Door-to-Door!”)

this seriously needed to be fully aired. this is like a sesame street episode dealing with death. it's something kids should see with their own eyes, hear with their own ears. that all good things, must end. and considering the state of nickelodeon right now, that time may be coming sooner rather than later.

Y'know, I've always wondered; Between the two unaired segments of the series, a reasonable amount of Bye Bye Beavers has been shared online, being the main voice dialogue, and a few storyboard pages. Meanwhile, the only thing we know about A Tail of Two Rangers is the barebones Wikipedia sypnosis "Dag and Norb become rangers", with no extra exposure like the other one got. Speaking of, Wikipedia has animation directors and writers credited for the two segemnts without any citation. Just wanted to bring that up.

Well, that was funny to watch! I hope this re-animated collab goes well! I'll be sure to spread the word of it myself! I've got a friend who's participated in a couple of re-animated collabs. He might be interested. By the way, in an interview Mitch Schauer did on Old School Lane's Casual Chats, Mitch said Bye Bye Beavers was supposed to start in full color, then be in black-and-white, then have Norbert and Daggett as stick figures, then just be script pages with them talking. Those latter 2 things didn't happen in this animatic. Did you not know about that? Or did you know but decided to change it because you liked what you had in mind better? Also, I thought that Norbert found out that they were cancelled through a letter in the mail (that's why he says "Hey! Maybe they're collecting door-to-door!" because he heard the doorbell ring and went to see they got a letter. And for the scene where Norbert showed Daggett that they were cartoons, I thought Norbert turned sideways and showed Daggett that he was 2-dimensional. Whatever, those are just minor nitpicks! This was great nonetheless! And it was nice to hear this audio complete with sound effects & Charlie Briscette's score! Anyway, I hope this collab turns out great! *BIIIIIIIIG HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUG!!!!!* Also, P.S. There's no Google Docs link in the description.

like I say to every show canceled because it was too expensive: animatics are *adequate.* and a lot better than nothing. were the bits spliced in by soundalikes in the original script but not in the original audio or something?
