Y'all I made this chopped up grinder, forgot the bread so I used texas toast that I had, threw a slice of pepper jack cheese on top and grilled it like a grilled cheese!!! The ONLY way I'll eat it now. Absolutely delicious accident 😂

That sandwich looks 🔥 I agree everything tastes better chopped up small. Hard to bite into big hunks of meat and tomato without tearing apart the sandwich. Cut small is easier to eat. Also-loved the idea of squeezing excess liquid from tomatoes. Brilliant.

The brand of spaghetti you used, Meullers...that's the kind my mother always bought when I was a kid. Gave me some intense nostalgia! Stores around here don't seem to carry that brand now. Brooke I can fix ur dutch oven. Just fill sink with bleach water. Out pan making sure inside is full of bleach water. Time depends on how much is on pan. Let it soak for 45min to a hour I usually do overnight. 100% guaranteed

Chopped sandwich is AMAZING. And so economical! I can take what I usually put in 2 or 3 sandwiches and once chopped, I can easily get DOUBLE the sandwiches out of it without anyone feeling slighted on ingredients!!! I can literally make a batch at the beginning of the week and it will feed my family all week long! And it makes every bite the perfect bite with a little bit of everything in it. So tasty!

we make that. all the time. but we also add some ricotta cheese to mix in with the shredded cheese. bake at 350 for like 20-30 mins until all the cheese is melted and gooey. its like baked ziti

Have you tried the Dollar Tree Dinners kind of version: two packages of Knorr fettuccine alfredo, mixed up and spread in a casserole dish. Then you make meat sauce. Layer them in a dish, top with mozzarella and bake.

I have made both of these recipes, and we liked them both. I will say, the sub/grinder filling does not "keep" well. We didn't use all of it for supper, and the next day it was watery, even though I de-seeded the tomato and dried the chopped pickle before adding them. So, adjust quantities downward if you think your family will not eat a huge bowl of it in one go.
