Equine helper is just such a great trainer.

I love how she immediately tosses away the whip, too
@OliverandAverie858Ай бұрын
Yeah same, she tossed the whip to give the horse a treat. A true equestrian. (Unlike the first on)

The horse in the first clip looked like they were about to break their leg :(

His little nose reaching up for the treat at the end made me smile. She's always so lovely with her horses

Equine Helper seems like such a lovely and sweet horse owner/trainer. 🥰 🐴

It took a year and a half to work with my horse and get him to WANT to lay down. Its worth it to do it the long way to preserve his spirit.

I’ve been in Equestrian for 50 years. That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen printed. Horses don’t wanna do stupid pet tricks and for those who are talking about their dogs doing tricks a big difference between the species really? I can’t think of anything and I own two of my horses for 24 years and I never felt the need for them to lay down and we traveled and went through the mountains and road and I didn’t make a penny off of them, all about people doing stupid tricks

@dellascorner317 I agree, I also have a horse that really benefitted from the trust building that results. Umm, also my horse loves to do tricks for reward. He does it at liberty, he can check out any time. It's another facet of horsemanship I never knew about, and I've had horses for 40 years myself. He has opened my eyes to so many possibilities, and he has a voice.

Well done for showing this. Everyone should learn from Jesse Drent and Alizee Froment doing both horse tricks AND GP dressage WITHOUT a bridle. ( here on You Tube)

The first one was so stressful for the horse, it didn’t have a clue what the person wanted and was really stressed. It was a pleasure to see the second person working so kindly with her horse and getting results with no stress! Thank you for sharing this!❤

I met a lady the other day who defined her horse by its breeders, not breed, who had the need to tell me how awesome her trainer is and how she wished she could ride like her. I wanted to say if you think you're inadequate why don't you forget about competing and spend time doing ground work with your horse getting to know each other but I knew I'd be wasting my breath. So many frustrated old ladies out there who, sadly, will never know the joy of achieving oneness with their horse. All they know is how to spend money with the breeders and trainers laughing all the way to the bank.

Forcing an animal or person to move the way you want often leads to injury. If my horse was suffering from front leg lameness when there should be none I would be asking some very serious questions.

Arrow A farms are Not horse trainers IMHO. Horse abusers. Horrible. Second one was excellent

That's called flooding a horse... and has been proven to damage them mentally and physically.

Arrow A Farms needs to be shut down. Abuse is their mode of action. Heart breaking in my eyes.

Why do you need to make your horse lay down? I mean, is do stupid pet tricks
@sarahwagland1559Ай бұрын
One could say everything we ask our children and animals to do are tricks. It's all about what we can achieve when we train by remaining calm, present and mindful, empathetic and patient. The aim is achieving harmony through benevolent leadership. Hope this helps.

Why do we need to teach our dogs to give the paw, go in circles, walk between our legs? Because pets and owners enjoy the bond those trivks create (when they're taught fearless and painless). It's just all fun and games.

If you are a disabled rider or out the trail without a mounting block handy? If your horse is injured and you need to treat them? This used to be required in the German calvary tests, with the horse lying down without the tack and the soldiers mounting them before standing.
