I leave my unused shea butter wrapped in plastic, placed in a container with a lid in my refrigerator along with all my DIYs I make with it. I don't add a persever. I take out my DIYs when I am about to use them at room temperature. My last batch lasted 6 months with no problems. Sterilize your containers before placing your DIYs in them and keep your contents clean as you use them. I place the DIYs I plan to use in small amounts on the lid, then wash the lid after I am done to keep the contents clean.

WATER, ALOE VERA, SPRITZ anything that is water/liquid based APPLIED FIRST, then your beautiful oil to LOCK IT ALL IN; GIVING GROWTH, PROTECTION AND STRENGHT TO YOUR HAIR. Hi, I was really excited to do this hair butter and I did that today, however, I found it came out too light, any pointers on making thicker, like your product?
@oluchicaroline6 ай бұрын
I suspect your oil is a bit higher than your base butter. I think adding more butter will help thicken it. And when next you’re trying it, add a lesser amount of oil. Too much oil makes it less thick and runny, and won’t allow it whisk into a butter properly.
