Great content! And your son is a cutie! I really admire your chill approach to managing your time. My 2 weeks in Niseko (first timer) starts two weeks from today :) I will try to be as laid back

Awesome!!! Thanks for sharing. This video will be extremely valuable when your son gets older :) I vividly remember those times with my kids when they were that young. We took them everywhere with us and I'm convinced it made a huge difference in our relationship as they are now 26 and 22 years old and we have a blast going on snowboard trips. I'm wanting to do a trip with my son to Niseko Japan next year, but struggling to find the right people to listen to when it comes to all the logistics. I would love if you'd be willing to share any information with me regarding travel, your lodging, and anything else you believe would be beneficial. Thanks, love your channel and wish you and family the best.

Good video, was hoping for a little more stoke. Seemed like day 1, day 2, day 3 and time to go. I do however appreciate how you guys split time and shared duties watching your son. But more stoke, it’s JAPOW!!!

@@6to8john Totally! The stoke was definitely there! There was a lot of footage unseen on this. Thanks for watching!

We need snow here in Niseko. Feels like spring conditions at Bachelor right now. Hopefully I run into you I the Skyliner/Blue lot this spring.

What size Passport do you ride? And what's your height/weight if you don't me asking. Cheers!
@MobilityDuo7 күн бұрын
@@jasonyang4685 so I rented it from Rhythm Japan. I rode a 157 which was ok. I would’ve preferred a 155 and actually switched the board out for an offshore
@jasonyang46857 күн бұрын
@@MobilityDuo Noted! I was interested in trying the 157, but was worried it might be too large for me too. What is your height and weight?
@MobilityDuo7 күн бұрын
@@jasonyang4685 Ahhh right! Im 5'9" 168 lbs. Honestly it comes down to preference. 157cm is great for me but I love shorter boards. I currently use a 156 Bataleon and love it.
@jasonyang46857 күн бұрын
@@MobilityDuo Got it. I'm actually really similar build and have enjoyed shorter boards in the past too, so that's good to know. It looks like the next size down for the Passport is a 154 and 154 wide. If you were to ride a Passport again, do you think you'd go regular 154, or 154 wide?
@MobilityDuo7 күн бұрын
@@jasonyang4685 I wear a size 10 boot and M bindings and regular was enough. Totally depends on the conditions with a 157 versus 154. If it was icy and hard pack I might choose the 154. If it was deep powder I would go with the 157.

Once you buy clothes in asia, you never go back to american pricing and quality 😅 (cuz buying in america is just junk from china too).

Price, absolutely! Ive had hit or miss purchases while in China but it can definitely be found! Japan, 100% agree
