day 1 for me. Im going to watch your first week after this. I dont know what has changed or if im placebo-ing. I was definitely more emotional after a few hours but that calmed down. If anything has changed its way more subtle than i thought it would be

Best of luck mate! Give it some time and a little patience; the immediate impact is different for everyone but it's the longer term effects that make all the difference. Take a look at my one month update when you get the chance for a more 'complete' view of the experience so far.

Quite incredible, I'm 3 weeks in now myself and I relate strongly to a lot of what you're saying. Im starting a 50mg dose up from 30mg soon so very interested to see how that goes. Very similar readings in terms of RHR/BP. Similar in terms of fitness, I cycle around 10 hrs a week and have had an uptick in HR during exercise so trying to find my new Z2. I've definitely been way more consistent with training too but definitely suffering now from a bit of fatigue so i think a deload is required soon. Please do share your fitness observations next time. As you've said - with great power comes great responsibility. Uncle Ben would be proud 😂

You got it! You know what it’s like when you’re training; you learn to listen to your body and manage recovery accordingly. But when both the objective data and subjective feelings materially change, you’ve definitely got to lean in and listen a little more closely. Another learning curve! Will cover this on the next one, and do a separate video on training. Appreciate your input!

I feel like I can see a pretty obvious increase in the clarity of your thoughts and their expression between week 1 and week 2. Thank you for making these videos they're really informative and help build a picture of what to expect, I'm starting on Elvanse 20mg tomorrow and I am apprehensive but also a little excited to see the possible impacts. All the best for the future :)

Hey, really glad it's been helpful. And thanks for sharing that observation. Even myself watching back, I think you're bang-on; clarity is exactly the word. Best of luck with your start tomorrow; check back in a few days and let us know how you're getting on! GC

Thank you so club for sharing. Very helpful to hear. I have heard on some other accounts of people on experiencing and increase in irritability, is that happening with you? Or could this be the spotlight bit, in that you can change that spotlight away from moments of irritation?
@Gpmcummings28 күн бұрын
What a banger of a question! I haven't been extra-irritable but I can completely see where it comes from. I've probably become a little more direct, and a little less agreeable in appropriate conversations (i.e. work negotiations) and occasionally impatient. But, your spotlight analogy is spot on here, also. I'm less reactive; better regulated, and can 'pivot' that spotlight off an irritated/frustrated reaction more easily. It doesn't linger. I'll go through this on my next (1 month) sum-up. Hopefully this helps, and thanks very much for the comment. Happy to share.

If you have pre existing problems like ocd and irritability taking vyvanse can exacerbate them. I have minor problems with being clean when I don’t take vyvanse but when I do I have to have everything clean where my space is.

Very comprehensive video. What's your dosage? I've been on 30mg that were awesome for a few days but they are barely noticeable, if at all, 3 weeks in Edit: ok, i just saw in another of your vids that you titrated from 30 to 50mg. So i assume this video describes you on 50mg?
@Gpmcummings19 күн бұрын
Hey! At the time of recording, had just titrated to 50mg; stayed there since. For sure, the effects were less noticeable after the initial week or two - maybe down to contrast, and maybe down to some adaptation! 1 month update coming shortly - I'll reflect on the above among others 😊

i need to start the medication soon but i am very scarred that i will experience fast heartbeat and anxiety...
@ragpud16 күн бұрын
I've got heart problems in my family, quite high blood pressure and a friend who had the anxiety problem. But I got a BP monitor, got it down to a safe level, and decided to take them with some food and go for a walk first thing. The food slows down the effects coming on and the walk was a nice distraction, and to be honest I felt absolutely nothing all day, a lot of people don't, positive or negative. So yeah just check your BP before you start, feel calm, have some breaky and go for it!

Totally understandable, and I think these are common concerns! Make sure you talk through your concerns with your doctor/pharmacist. Everyone’s experience is different: with different medications, dosages, timings and approaches. It can take some time to get it right. My only suggestion: there’s nothing you ‘need’ to do - no hard and fast rules in caring for your health. You can try different approaches, take your time, with the right professional support, and find what works for you :)

I started 5 days ago and had the same worries. In my case it was fine, it was way more mild than i expected. I had visions of my heart bouncing out of my chest but in reality, I took the capsule and fell asleep on the sofa 2 hours later.

Day 1 here. Experienced a real high and did too much. Then serious crash. Does that even out? The highs and lows?
@Gpmcummings10 күн бұрын
@@kayleighcooper8065 Hey Kayleigh - in my case it definitely smoothed out. First day was the most pronounced - I mention this in my one month update, take a look! GC
