RattanaKham was rescued with an injury to her hind leg. Two years ago she left the place of her former employment in a tourist camp for a life of Sanctuary at Elephant Nature Park. She is so fortunate to be helped by Pra Ajarn Moche who donated to win her freedom, allowing her to be cared for in the Park. Since she arrived at Elephant Nature Park, her physical and mental health have improved. She has become a best friend to Aungkham and HomNuan. They will never be sold again. Their lives are safe now. Those happy and content rumbles, trumpets and squeaks is heard loud and clear. She is living a happy, safe life with others of her kind. No longer chained and free to go wherever she wants. Plenty food and plenty love and kindness. We all need to learn to respect the plants and animals we share this revolving rock with. Humans claim to be at the top of the animal kingdom and yet it is only humans that are cruel, intolerant and destructive.
