Lek is a saint! Elephants are such intelligent, majestic creatures!! All the elephants are babies...helpless at the hands of evil people who abuse them for gain and entertainment, dependent on kind souls who rescue them and give them a good life.... thank you Lek and all the workers who love and care for these amazing sweet Elephants!😍

The trauma to mother and baby is immense. To know your baby is being abused right next to you, to hear their cries and be unable to intervene and save them is so sad. Thank heaven that Lek has such a vision and works tirelessly to save these elephants from further abuse.

I am an old woman now. But, if I had my life to do all over, this is where I would spend my life.....helping as many elephants as I could.
I am just so dissappointed in the human race when hearing how wild animals are being treated, thankfully there are people like Lek who really work so hard to change the situation for these animals.

Thank you Lek for all you do to save elephants! Very sorry to hear about Zuki. Why can't this horribly cruel PHAJAAN Torture "training" be abolished and outlawed by the Govt.of Thailand, or are they still living in the medieval ages?

IVE LEARNED SOOO MUCH ABOUT ALL ELEPHANTS!!!...THEY ARE SUCH TOUCHY-FEELY!!! VERY SOCIAL & CLOSER THAN MOST ANIMALS WITHIN THEIR HERD!!!💜😍🐘🐘🐘🙋☺🙏👍🇺🇸
@cacatr44958 жыл бұрын
For unknowledgeable readers and viewers: When Lek says "training" in the context of elephants, she is talking about PHAJAAN, which is Torture Training, also called The Crush, when Men force a baby elephant for a whole week, through torture, continuous 24/7 stabbing with the sharp steel Bullhook, beating the baby elephant with rods and knives, causing such severe injuries that PHAJAAN kills HALF of ALL captive Asian elephant calves. Clearly, this baby elephant boy, just a toddler who should still be nursing from his mom, has been severely injured from the torture, to the point where we hope his leg will be restored to walk normally, so he isn't injured for life. PHAJAAN, Torture training, made to crush the elephant's Will for a lifetime of enslaved labor to Man, because it kills HALF of ALL captive Asian elephant babies, is one reason why the Asian elephant is estimated to become extinct in Asia. Pregnancy takes 22 months, and the kill rate of elephants is far greater than their birth rate. At this rate. not only endangered in the Asian wild and made by poachers soon extinct, the captive elephant population is too, because Man kills them faster than they can reproduce. Torture-training is an ATROCITY against Life, and an abomination against the God that designed the loving elephants. God forbid that Evil Man be able to have his way in destroying the elephants and the earth. I pray that this baby boy elephant will be fully restored, in body and emotions, and grow into a very strong bull who is protected by God his whole life long, most especially protected from Man.

Once in awhile I will accidentally see a single image from the pajaan process in the intro to some video & can't get away fast enough. Yet the images are burned into my brain in an instant. I'm sure Lek has seen this up close & personal, like people who do undercover video for Peta have seen similar atrocities among circus animals. I have great respect for people who can see this knowing that bringing it to light may have a positive effect in stopping it. I could not do it. I simply could not do it. Forty years ago I was sent a mailing by a lab-animal rescue organization, & the picture they put on the envelope is still in my mind, I think of it every time I get something in the mail from one of those organizations. I've had to tell them Please, don't send this stuff to me. I'm happy to donate but I cannot abide those images. It's so horrible I don't even have any words. The people who do this..I can't understand it, will never understand it.

deenibeeniable I feel the same way as you. I’m happy to donate when help is needed but the images are too much for me. Like yourself, I was sent photos from Asia of beautiful creatures (dogs) being tortured and barbecued whilst alive. I didn’t eat for several days and still have nightmares today. I know this dreadful evil exists and must be destroyed but these days images burn my retinas and can’t be forgotten. Hope this finds you well,i just realised your comment is months old💕🇦🇺

human beings are very interesting creatures, how can anyone have a heart to harm a baby whether its human or animal babies. elephants babies are almost like human babies so innocent, pure, playful and just sweet, they have extreme emotional capacity they stick together like family and they mourn their dead. can you imagine how helpless the mother must have felt when those demons were forcing baby zuki to train. why don't they grow a crop and do something honorable rather than abuse innocent and helpless animals. people who harm animals are not humans they are demons.

And it is hard to get people to understand how an elephant in a circus was trained. They refuse to believe it. they thing they are trained like dogs with treats. I was protesting outside a circus, trying to hand out literature, and people refused to take it. One guy said, they would not be abusing an animal that is their source of income and threw the pamphlet away, even with a picture on it. Such willful ignorance.
@rfresa4 жыл бұрын
I think there is a cycle of abuse. The Mahouts are also raised to abuse elephants from a young age and this could be considered part of their culture. Lek is showing them a better way, and some are starting to listen.

Please also tell us that his traumatized emotional heart recovers from the severe abuse. Tell us when joy and confidence returns to him. Thank you, please, for taking care of our friends the elephants as best as you can. We love them and you, very much. Thank you!! Bless you!! - hugs.

It was unfortunate for Zuki that the EEHV was not immediately detected until he showed symptoms and died within three days. Sad.
